Got mine here in Scotland last week. It’s without doubt the most versatile overdrive pedal I have owned in the last 40+ years. Shawn, I found something very special that the Tilt EQ does for me. With the tilt knob nearly all the way left, it makes my PRS neck humbucker sound like a chimey strat! So killer!!! Going to be using the neck pup much more often now!

Shawn, Me again... I got to sit with the Tilt Overdrive yesterday for a good amount of time and ended up just pairing it with the Strymon El Capistan on a D'Addario XPND small pedalboard with a Dunlop power supply underneath. The Tilt Overdrive is just simply amazing and it took me back to when i switched from a solid state amp to tubes. It might sound weird but it makes my tube amps sound tubier...if there is such a thing. The pedal, once you get your head around it, is very intuitive. There's no hiding behind the pedal really. If you flub up it tells on you, which actually is really a great thing in my opinion. I'm friends with an up and coming guitarist in Los Angeles who's friends with guitarists that most of us know by name and she was like "Wooooow!" when she found out about my having the Tilt Overdrive. She wants me to make a recording and send it to her once I'm completely at home with the pedal. I don't think my cell phone will do it justice but I'll try as soon as i can. I switched from my Jeff Beck Signature Stratocaster to my EVH 5150 Standard without touching the pedal and the difference was staggering. I love the sound from both guitars, I was just amazed that i got a great sound out of the 5150 without having to adjust the Tilt. Obviously it can be adjusted to sound better but for just plugging it in? Impressive. Very impressive. Stephen

Mine just arrived. Gave it the initial 30 minute run-through. This is a great pedal. Very usable responsive EQ. The top is tight and articulate without being sizzly. The lows are as present in the mix as you need them to be. Love the smooth switches. The boost is definitely an integral part of the pedal - not a gimmick or after-thought. Shapes the tone - just as he demonstrates. It earned the velcro and is staying on the board. Outstanding job on this pedal. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I just got mine this week. The overdrive is very organic and dynamic, and the tilt eq is great. I can easily fatten up a strat single coil bridge pickup for higher gain tones, and then just as easily clean up the wooly low end of a humbucker neck pickup for soloing. It's fast and easy to get a great sound and a real problem-solver.

I picked one of these up yesterday. Subconsciously I may have cloned your board sans strymon and even tide. What I love about this pedal is that it shines through my ac30 and my tweed amps. I am still trying to figure out the boost side but it is killer as well. Being able to support Canadian business is special as well.

Shawn, Just got mine in. We're around the same age, I graduated in '87. So maybe that's why our ears drift toward the sound that I love and, apparently, you love. I went through the rack mount gear phase too. Haha But as i stated on the TPS interview video with you, my jaw dropped while watching it. Not just because of your technical skills on the instrument but because your starting point sound is very similar to mine. Again, that could be an age thing. ???. Anyway, I had a brief run through with the pedal on an edge of breakup Blues Junior and was smiling. I have three pedalboards, one that I scavenge off of...I have a large tote full of pedals as well...and two smaller ones. I'm a less is more pedalboard kind of guy, in that I've narrowed down my sound so well that one of the other two boards has just a Lovepedal Vintage Modern, Tortuga Effects Gecko digital delay and a Keeley Abbey Chambers Verb on it. The other will be messed with to where it may just have the Tilt Overdrive and Strymon El Capistan on it. The other option may include a very early, extremely rare CMATmods Butah into the Tilt and Strymon. But if I can get it down to just the Tilt and Strymon, which I believe is how it will be, I'll be in my happy place. Yes, more is more, but using the Tilt only is a testament to just how much can be done with the Tilt Overdrive. I don't think anyone has mentioned that it works really well as a stand alone pedal, outside of the Tilt Boost, which looks to be another purchase for me in the near future. Either pedal can be used as an Always On pedal using just the boost. That's what I do with the Lovepedal Vintage Modern, leave the COT side on always. Can't wait to try out the Tilt Overdrive on my Marshall Vintage Modern combo (my baby). Thanks for simplifying a lot of things for me. Love ya man. Stephen

Nice ! Revv make some awesome stuff. Btw: I've acquired an OKKO OD, GH signature model (for Greg Hilden, a German Guitar player/dealer), which is based on the same layout (OD+Boost), but it's got some interesting features: adjustable voltage from 6 to 18 volts, control of the amount of low frequencies in the input signal, mid fattening in the first gain stage, 3 way switch for frequency control, input switch that woks on the first gain stage to find the best match for the type of guitar/Playing style. Seems like a lot, but once you find your sweetspot, it's just killer ! If you find one, I'd advise you to try it ;) Cheers Shawn, your demos are always ace ! Rene

Such a great pedal. Not only does it sound great, but the tilt eq makes it super fast and easy to sculpt a sound that lays perfectly in a track. Already seeing these pop up on boards of all the top sessions cats in Nashville. I’m assuming it isn’t any different in LA. This pedal includes the most important feature: experience with hundreds of demoed pedals in combination with different amps and guitars. It really considers the different situations professional guitarists are faced with. Be it in a loud band rehearsal, live on a club stage, in a studio session, in a TV studio or in a bedroom studio. You always have to adopt you basic sound to the environment your in - fast. This pedal doesn't need advertising phrases like "sound like a dumble/fender/marshall/etc."
