Greetings from Munich! 🍺🥨😉 I owned a 1985 Cadillac Seville elegante for 16 years here in Bavaria as a 2nd car and it was glorious! 👍🏼🏁🇺🇸

I’ve always loved the look of the 1980 Seville. It was always an elegant head turner back then. I also remember the short lived Imperial. Last spring I saw the rare Chrysler sitting outside a business here in Atlanta. One of my favorites not mentioned here was the 1980 Lincoln Versailles. I know not too many appreciated it as I did, but I’d love to find a black on black example for sale today. And of course, as did many, I saw the inside of too many to count Fleetwood formal limousines back then. It was a fun way to arrive at the airport, or to attend a theater, concert, or special birthday. Cars didn’t look alike as every SUV on the road looks today.

Good video. It might be great if there was a proper ‘Outro’ instead of just ending abruptly. A “thanks for watching” or “well, that’s my list… comment below” or “check of some of my other automotive inspired video”. Aside from that… great editing, pictures and voice overs. A lot of research, I’m sure. I’m also glad you never included (my neighbour had one) the Chrysler E-class Executive Limousine. It was essentially just a K-Car … stretched (albeit ‘nicer’ interiors and a dividing wall). Thanks for the video.

I started off with the 1982 imperial by Chrysler. The Frank Sinatra edition at 24,000. The EFI was the worst I'd ever seen. The manufacturer paid to have a converted to carbureted. In 1986 I bought the downsize new style of the Cadillac Seville. In 1989 I traded it for the Lincoln Town car signature edition. Today I drive a Lincoln navigator 2023. I look bad of the three cars from the '80s they were okay for the times. We have now revolved with technology and it continues to evolve.

Who would want one of these smoged down P.O.S.? Something from the 70’s would look better & run better; especially the Cadillac’s.

The bar was really low in the eighties!

The Imperial was the only one of these cars that was hand built with doors, body panels, fixtures and fittings hung by hand. The paint was hand-rubbed, every car was test-driven for more than 5 miles and the cars were shipped on specially-designed trailers in fleeced bags. The result of this attention was evident when the Imperial was compared side-by-side with its competition.

The “Fleetwood Broom” 🙄. It’s a shame you don’t know your Cadillacs.

The AI voice was really irritating.. made the video almost unwatchable.
