Hey team. I currently live in Malaysia and to say the least its Hot!!, Always! I am really interested in this helmet but massive airflow is important to me given this non stop hot climate. I was wondering how this compares airflow wise to the Shoei Neotec? In short which one is the cooler helmet?

It is a pity that the C3 Pro cannot be converted to the E1. I have a C3 Pro (with SRC) and it would have been great to be able to just buy the peak, front chin guard, and liner to convert my existing helmet. I live in South East Asia and if this has better ventilation then it would be a great helmet to own.
@TheOKTerrificable8 жыл бұрын
I have a C3 (not the Pro) and my E1 just came in. The SRC fits into the E1 perfectly. The only issue I have had so far is the mic can block the front vent since it fits perfectly into that little vent hole. So if you get it, you won't have to buy another SRC for the helmet.
@evanmurphy21658 жыл бұрын
Yes the SRC is compatible as it is not reliant on the chin guard. Just a pity the rest of the mechanism isn't to be able to convert a C3 to an E1. It is a very expensive helmet and I would hope that the ventilation would be better for hotter climates. The ventilation is probably fine for summers hitting the mid 20s in a dry climate in Europe or North America but when it is in the low 30s and high humidity as it is in South East Asia I would love more ventilation to help keep the head cooler.

how well would this work with a sena 10C? i expect the SCHUBERTH Bluetooth would have indents for speakers, internal cables etc, and the likes but is there room for the sena clamp mount, with the clamp mount is there interference with the internal visor switch, or will the sticky mount work better on the helmet shape?
@RevZilla8 жыл бұрын
Yes, indeed you can mount the 10C to the left side. You would mount it with the clamp mount just aft of the sun visor slider. The camera sits high enough on the clamp mount that it shouldn't interfere with the sun visor slider. -DrewZilla

Hey! I have another one. Which one is more ventilated, the E1 or the Shoei Neotec?
@RevZilla7 жыл бұрын
That's tough to quantify. Schuberth touts their ventilation scheme as being highly tested and refined, and I don't doubt they put in their R&D hours. That said, in my experience the Shoei NeoTec is very comfortably ventilated as well, to the point I wouldn't even feel comfortable making a strong distinction. For me, the difference is the aerodynamics. I prefer the lack of a 'peak' on the NeoTec. -TeamZilla Chris

Great review and really sweet helmet. I do value my head but $830!! Thats crazy expensive for an adventure helmet that I'm going to be bouncing off trees and rocks...
@bbqBaconNinja9 жыл бұрын
+adam03cc It's an adventure helmet, not off road. Meant for light trail riding and on-road. Once you look at them in person and put on a Schuberth, you will know where your extra money went. I will upgrade from the Icon Variant to this in the spring. I hesitated on buying the SR1 but glad I spent the extra money than saving a few hundred, well worth it in my mind and I doubt I will buy any other brand for road or light trail use. Off-road I wouldn't wear it because of the reasons you stated.
@rainersrandomvideos3718 жыл бұрын
Actually the Variant is shit and costs way too much. Bad quality and, as already mentioned, very expensive. It looks cool tho.
@adam03cc8 жыл бұрын
***** I don't know what you consider adventure riding but on road and light trails are just pathways to more extreme destinations for my adventure riding... step up your game push your limits. I still say there is no justifying the price on that helmet. The materials, the design, or manufacturing of this helmet cannot possibly be that great.
@bbqBaconNinja8 жыл бұрын
adam03cc Lol, ok big guy, calm down. Adventure riding isn't extreme off road. Going over rocks, trees, streams and moderate jumps are what I consider adventure riding. If I'm likely to hit a tree at speed, bounce my head off rocks or constantly go down at speed I would then buy a DOT approved motocross helmet. I bought a Schuberth and am telling you first hand that the build, fit and finish is top quality and out performs anything I have owed in my life.
@dullen877 жыл бұрын
What are you on about ? "not off road" ?? Adventure riding IS what you make of your adventure, so off road, on road, a mix, swimming with the fishes whatever YOU DECIDE for your adventure! Besides that, yes a very expensive and overpriced helmet!
@mrrageguy74135 жыл бұрын
I did a test ride with the E1 and the Scorpion ADX-1. Here the E1 is about €750 and the Scorpion is between €200 and €250. I have to say that the adjustable peak is nice. The thing for me is the noise. Opening up that visorvent made SO MUCH NOISE! I have decided that I very much like the ADX-1 way more. Better fit for my head, nicer, more smooth system and the noise is just a little bit more. For the price Schuberth charges it just isn’t worth it. It’s very heavy and it catches a lot of wind. The thing I problably liked the most was the clear visor. It’s very clear but it’s, again, not worth the price...

I just watched the video on the modular helmets that you guys put out. I have the Scorpion modular adventure helmet. And I like it, it is my favorite helmet. Things I don't like about it tho: 1- Loud. 2- chin strap is cheap crap. 3- It does catch a lot of wind, & I have no windshield. So I saw this one mentioned (though not shown) in your video. It does look cool AF. Much less sound than the Scorpion? Only these colors? No solid colors? I really like the 'peak' even though it seems unbecoming of a Harley rider. But it does wonders with the sun here in Nevada.
@RevZilla7 жыл бұрын
The E1 is quieter than the Scorpion, though only if the helmet has a nice snug fit. Additionally, the E1 has a ratchet chin strap instead of the Scorpion's double D-ring. There are solid colors as well. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/schuberth-e1-adventure-helmet

How is the fit compared to the C3 pro? The C3 Pro Medium is a perfect fit except a little to "snug" around the cheekbones. The Large is just a little to big overall. Someone mentioned the E1 is a little wider then the C3 pro. Any truth in this? Thanks.
@RevZilla8 жыл бұрын
The fit is almost exactly the same with the C3 Pro and the E1. It sounds like you might need a medium helmet with additional thinner cheek pads from size large (15mm) if the stock medium cheek pads (20mm) don't break in enough. The C3 Pro cheek pads fit the E1. The only difference is the color of the pads. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/schuberth-e1-helmets *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/schuberth-c3-pro-cheek-pads

What is missing in this review is on the road testing. There have been comments that the visor vibrates like crazy at highway speeds, affecting vision and comfort. If you used this E1 on the highway; what was your experience?
@RevZilla7 жыл бұрын
We did not experience any vibrations with the visor at speed. -DrewZilla

@@RevZilla Most of the comments about that were from two years ago. Has the helmet been updated since its original release to address that issue? They make reference to "improved faceshield ratchet system" on the description on your site. I really like this helmet on paper but any issue with a vibrating visor at touring speeds is an obvious deal breaker.

That is a Beautiful looking helmet! could even replace my Variant! however I read a speed triple and so am not sure if it would be worth it as I do not do any off roading and just want something that looks slick for street riding. how would this helmet perform on a super naked? (rough guess)
@bbqBaconNinja9 жыл бұрын
+BeardedBker484 If you don't mind the Variant on a naked the Schuberth will be a step up. The base of this is the same as the C3 Pro which is a great helmet. However, if you are going to be riding at speed (60mph +) I wouldn't look at anything with a peak. I own an Icon Variant, Schuberth SR1 and a cheap HJC (if it gets wrecked while stunting, no real money lost) and I rarely pick up the Variant when I'm heading out. I'll wear the Variant when riding the Grom (doesn't go fast enough for the peak to matter) but always find myself reaching for the SR1 when jumping on the Duke 690. TL;DR Fuck a peak if your riding faster than 60mph for more than a few min at a time.
@Bearded4849 жыл бұрын
Thanks man, i shall probably look at a C3 Pro, I just love the styling of the off road adventure type helmets. I have never found the peak to be a problem when riding I just find the helmet to be a bit noisy and is getting bit old, I am just looking for a newer style really.

Do you know if a Nolan N104 3XL is equal to a C3 pro 2XL or 3XL?
@RevZilla7 жыл бұрын
They aren't really equal at all. First, Schuberth's size intervals are 1/2 size smaller than Nolan's. Also, the C3 Pro has a rounder internal shape, while the Nolan has a very narrow oval shape. If a Nolan N104 fits you spot on, the Schuberth probably won't fit right. It's also possible that the N104 isn't a great fit, and that the C3 Pro might actually fit better. I recommend trying the C3 Pro in 3XL. -DrewZilla
