What items were used in the video, to do this conversion? I’m curious so I could buy the same items and upgrade storage space for people who don’t have the $$ for a new phone, but want their data and etc - backup before, desoldered, re-ball the new NAND unit, and boom - install, then restore from backup, and you’ve got the same phone with 20x the space capacity.

Apple can hard code in software that if 1. Memory is more than 64 GB then not boot 2. If serial number of nand chip has changed then not boot. Then this upgrade would not be possible in future.
