NO 1 TAKE YOUR PHONE TO LET A PRO DO IT. these things are NOT DIY. NO.2 a hair dryer will do just nicely, my heat gun is not as exact but the idea is, apply head. You can get a gel thing for your shoulder or back, that you microwave for heat, and apply it let it sit, same thing.

Dropped my phone yesterday. And it now had a crack running in the glass from the top right of the phone to the bottom left. Everything still seems to be working. So I'm in doubt if I should replace the front of my phone. Even though in the video it doesn't seem too hard, I wonder if someone like me who isn't that technical and a bit clumsy when it comes to finer movements, will get it done without causing even more damages. But I wanted to let you know my favorite ice cream is taste is lemon.

Good Morning. I see a common error in many technicians, which is to connect the screen with the battery connected, that usually burns the screens. It is advisable to disconnect the battery and then connect the screen. The iphone have boosters that make the screens functions with approximately 24VDC. It is just an advice!

Static bands are for discharging static electricity that your body might have accumulated due to friction. These static charges can be accidentally discharged onto the fragile components in PCB and small electrical parts on cellphone internals, rendering unusable. In order to work, they need to be connected to ground so that the charges flow to the ground and you become electrically discharged.

it's true that his esd wrist strap isn't plugged in (earthed)... and I have to be honest and say I wouldn't even have noticed that had you not pointed it out... BUT - You have to give the guy some credit. He DOES know what he's doing. Aside from the ESD strap, he did the repair, he was well organized, he used the right tools, and he demonstrated it quite well... Perhaps, he just didn't wear the strap to make the video easier to record.

REWA its like watching a action movie. Seriously all the technics and know-how you guys have is stunning. The best part was when you replaced the backlight of the screen. I was like WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!? STOP!! hahahahahaha i thought you were breaking the LCD, after all the hard work. Is it even necessary to replace the backlight? I mean its a potentially dangerous step that could (should ^^ ) be spared.

Hmmm how can I put this... In North America, the workforce wage will account to too much to justify doing all this work. The solution will therefore be, buy a whole new OEM LCD. It was extremely interesting to watch though. Impressive to know that such effort goes into swapping the broken glass panel when the LCD is perfectly functional.

the other day I was thinkng, "hey, i want to spend more money, but I can't think of what to spend it on" Heroin? Nope... got plenty of that. Food?... Refrigerator is full. Hookers? ... nope,... on account of the heroin I can't find any with adequate patience. Then I saw this video and I realized the 30 bucks worth of tools that will do... what I thought was a just fine job of this, are not good enough. I'm so glad I figured out I needed a special hotplate, a glue remover, a really expensive laminator, an even more expensive laminator/vacuum chamber combo, a mold for each phone model, and a different heat pad. whew. I had no idea what to spend that 15,000 dollars on. I was afraid my small phone repair business might turn a profit. Now I can do another 1000 repairs before I turn a profit! thanks rewa! I thought for a minute that some working class people might ~shudder~ be able to work for themselves. what a nightmare that would have been. can you imagine, working people running around getting paid the actual value of thier labor? the horror! next thing you know, they're going to start telling their friends how much money they could get paid if they didn't have me taking my 90% cut because I own all the equipment. Then what happens?, Live off of an equal share? Sure it's more than enough, but then it means nothing, then they'll start expecting us successful types to WORK for money like filthy commoners? I don't know about you, but that sounds like the really bad sort of communism to me, the kind where people like me don't get a chance to infiltrate the party and remain wealthy... the libertarian sort of communism... such an insidious variety. it's nearly impossible to create propaganda against once it's allowed to exist. everyone know communism kills, sometimes even silently... 340 million in the past century alone. for the love of all that is good... for the love of money, It must be stopped!
