Not the first time that Ryan Moore has gotten overconfident in the saddle in a major G1 race riding an Aidan O'Brien trained/Coolmore owned heavy favorite, only to have Frankie Dettori come along and spoil the party and smear egg all over Ryan Moore's face. My guess is that before Dettori climbs down out of the saddle for the final time, it won't be the last either.

I remember watching thos race in Australia and it had different commentary on how the pacemaker missed the start,they really stuffed syt think uo by their racing style instead of just letting him race like he did in Australia,rewilding was better on the day but never saw him again

Rewilding had a tragic ending in his following race. BTW, are those pacemakers in European races banned in Australia?

@@myfrobert we don't have pacemakers specifically, there might be something that goes out like a scalded cat,but it generally does that to make break and hopefully get far enough in front to win. Whether its illegal I don't know, how could you enforce it anyway. But its not looked on favourable and shows that the horse its being pacemaker for it doesn't have winning racing pattern itself.
