i've seen a lot of his old work and i think reddington is his crown jewel of acting. spader may look more average now then he used to but i think reddington made him sexiest he's ever been.

Love that his mind is always busy. Admired him for years as an actor but seen little interviews. He seems years ahead of his shoulders. I also respect the work that he has taken on as it’s very left field, he’s done a great job of exercising his acting by stretching in all directions. Plus his other work from being an actor has also helped his “character”. Big fan of his, I’m just peeved that I couldn’t get past the first series of Blacklist because I just couldn’t stand the actress that played his daughter. Her acting just became worse to the point wheee even her walking stride was ridiculous. I’m sorry to give her grief but she just ruined a programme that I really wanted to watch. What’s it with women actors that have to over egg the pudding in every scene they are in? Toni Trucks that played Lisa in Seal Team or Emily Deschanel in Bones (just) are the only women I can watch that look normal & talk normally without the over exaggerate with sighs, eye rolls, hair flicks or walking.
@GotoMaki4Micah4 ай бұрын
i 100% understand about that actress who played his daughter. but i also blame the writing. i found it hard to be emotionally involved in their relationship because it lacked any physical or emotional vulnerability or intimacy. all she emoted was annoyance and frustration. it was weird since he wanted to forge a relationship with her. in future seasons they have him act less stoic. in a future season, they have him dance with her at a poolside, her looking happier then she ever did with tom. THAT, created a connection that, i can believe. however her trust/ distrust and constantly defying him got old quick. she didn't even have a healthy fear of him, which was wild. since i like red, i should root for them but i couldn't. she's such an insolent brat, in dire need of a spanking lol
@torhockers14824 ай бұрын
@@GotoMaki4Micah agree, we made it to season 2/3 I can’t remeber, & we waned are that. It could have been awesome but like you said, the writing was a little lukewarm, what a travesty, especially after having JS accept the script, he just didn’t have the strong actors of his calibre or the writers to run the marathon. By the sounds of it it just died a death. A waste as it could have been one of those cult programmes.
