Dastaan is such a drama which was a hit. Covered most of the pain related with migration in 1947. Sanam did amazing. I couldn't finish the drama as it was giving me nightmares of the pain of our women and men n old people n unborn children... When you know the real stories of migration . Little glimpse of that is very hard to bear... But Good drama.. And every one did their best ..

i lost my dadi last sunday..in this blessed month of ramadan..and i can so relate to this feeling of emptiness ..it still hasn't settled in that my beloved dadi is no more...i'm just so thankful that i was able to cup her head gently in my hands to protect her from the hard steel bars while they performed the ghusl...I hope my Rabb shows her great Mercy and grants her the highest status in Jannah, Ameen ya Rabbi...my heart's been broken many times over...still making duaa for shifaa..may Allah(swt) save us from the trials of life and death and make it easy on all of us, Ameen.

Loved this interview..I have watched several shows of Sanam but this is indeed where one gets to know Sanam the human being. Yes, she seems kind of sad and that made me sad too. Her confident personality reflects in her drama characters. How safe,secure childhood along with parents healthy married life is important for every child.
