Fox has crazy normals. Hero has slow normals and janky B buttons that basically carry him. Light is the better player by far

On paper it seems like it, fox has that crazy fast safe reflector, and puts so much pressure on hero he doesnt really have much time to read, then theres the fox short hops or full hops that jump over the vast majority of the moves hero relies on. Fox has such fast fall speeds he can land and punish with whatever he wants after jumping over specials

BeastModePaul: should’ve been harassed light with neutral b (fully charged or not) when you had bounce. There are moments when light is doing full hop fast fall aerials that you can call out hard with up smash. That’s something l can imagine nairo doing and it would put fear into making him do something that makes fox annoying/pressuring. You need more ledge mixups when recovering. Don’t just roll or get up from ledge. Also ledge get up attack seems reasonable if you can read when he’ll do a dash attack. There were also moments when the first hit of down smash out of shield would’ve been good to punish light. And at 6:04, I did an f smash in my mind to read light from dropping from the platform (and I didn’t get that same feeling again) idk how l can get you to see what l see but yea lol. You also can’t just be getting steamrolled and whats worse is getting steamrolled and playing into the next game with that same energy/momentum

Imo, it was better for everyone that he just end it there. Light is arguably top 3 best players in the world when he's completely locked in and on fire. Paul basically saved us the trouble of waiting another minute or two for him to lose.

2:48 Not really the best odds of pulling zoom here because the jump was used early to survive. That, plus any spells to burn MP would either be too much like Kaboom or too little like Flame Slash. It would be possible if he used Flame Slash and got lucky
