Ranger sometimes feels both weak and strong at the same time. Maybe because the firerate is so damn slow like a snail, which makes it so you can never rely on ranger as the main dps anymore. I think it needs a slight buff probably to its price because its too expensive for what it is worth and the range buff isn't as impactful compared to dj booth

It's basically balanced. Ranger getting explosive damage makes one of it's weaknesses not as apparent as before which was crowd control, but it's weaker to faster enemies since the ranger shoots soo damn slow, even with the whole map range. I honestly think that the addition of explosion damage wasn't really that needed since you usually have another tower than can solve that problem on your loadout.

if you were to get multiple level 2/3 instead of rushing max it can handle everything well, and once you have a commander and atleast 2 max rangers they shred most things, it may be worse in some things than older ranger but its really insane for mid game on its early levels while still being good at late game and for anyone saying the explosions dont help much, a few max rangers can handle breakers easily while other single target late game towers struggle so you wont need to use an aoe tower wich is a us in solo

I tested multiple games with a early game tower + ranger. Ranger is balance. Sure it’s fire rate is low. But 1 ranger set to strongest and the 5 others to first enemy. Now ranger on it’s own? Still pretty good. I was able to shred the tank, warden, and the Fallen guardians with ranger. Not to mention, ranger insane range is really good. That also gives it really high usage since in one of the maps I tested it in. It literally killed the fallen king across the map. I just needed to move a few towers to deal with fallens and that’s it. But overall ranger is well balance and could kill fallen king across the map.

Begginer tips: if u dont have a Ranger, the Rocketeer will be the choice if u dont have a Ranger. Rocketeer is like a Baby Ranger, but its still worth it for the boss, and late round game.

It was removed for there own good I try 40mini and my game just crash and there have been several report about the insane lag/freeze issues that why I'm glad it was removed
