1:01:27 the problem isn't that they are nobody. Her parents are still her parents, so when Kylo says they are nobody it sounds like a meta jab rather than an in character thing to say. To her, her parentage was important, so your fix is only justifying her reaction to learning that information, which is good. The only reason everyone ended up expecting a big reveal as to her parentage was because she was so effortlessly talented with the force(people used "related to important force-user" to explain her OP-ness). In your rewrite it doesn't matter, because you already made her not OP. In the Disney movie the non-important parentage adds to her just being coincidentally the most powerful and talented force-user presented on the big screen, which people were already peeved about.

I know Im really late to this however another option that could work is Kylo Ren enters the world between worlds in the ruined temple of Lothal, and he attempts and fails to bring back vader when vader fights luke in the empire strikes back. It's a similar climax to how Death attempts to use someone to bring back Dracula from hell.

This is how you bring back Palpatine. I love the comparison to Voldemort and Sauron, and the idea that he will exist as a Sith Spirit in the next film, the same way Jedi can become Force Ghosts. I also love the idea of him not only manipulating Luke beyond the grave, but how you'd set it up, have Palpatine return at the end of this movie, and just his his laugh over a dark screen, the same way the trailer for the Rise of Skywalker did, and have fans go insane.

Hello everybody! Firstly, this video took way longer than I expected. I'm not going to claim I was working on it solidly for the last 6 months, but it really did take a lot of time. If you like this video please subscribe because I actually enjoyed making it and want to make more content going forward for a larger audience. Secondly, at the time I'm writing this I have no idea how copyright stuff will play out. I uploaded the video dozens of times with different alterations to try to stop Disney making copyright claims. In the end I had no choice but to dispute, and that means that while the video is visible at the time of me writing this, it could be taken down at any point over the next 30 days and I wouldn't really have any means to fight back. Hopefully that doesn't happen Thirdly, I expect this video to be way more controversial than my Force Awakens rewrite for the simple reason that the Last Jedi was a way more controversial film. Also the standard disclaimer applies about how I don't think the sequel trilogy was a good idea in the first place. I fully expect to get some constructive criticism for this rewrite about what could have been better. I just hope that even if you think there are issues with my rewrite, you still recognise some talent and passion for media commentary and might stick around just to see more of that from me. Finally, Merry Christmas :) Edit: also there are a few stray frames here and there. I did want to fix these, but if I were to upload a fixed version of the video I'd have to go through the copyright appeal process all over again, which would pushback the release of this video even more.

I HATED Last Jedi, but I wouldn't have minded this rewrite. My biggest issue with Last Jedi was that there was no consistency - character motivations seemed to change from one scene to the next like it was one of those writing practice exercises where one person writes a paragraph of a story and then hands it to a person sitting next to them in a circle. Your rewrite does a lot to keep characters consistent and make the film feel less, well, stupid than the original certainly was.

Yeah, unfortunately an entire effort like this is akin to putting lipstick on a pig and I wholeheartedly agree that the very existence of the ST is ultimately unsatisfying in this state, even with tweaks. That being said, however, I still greatly appreciate yours - and many others' - sincere and much more thoughtful work put into these rewrites, because even if the general plot is still distasteful to me, you're still making significantly better strides in justifying this plot. I went back and rewatched your TFA video so that I'd have a refresher for this one, and sat through all of this one, and I don't feel like I've wasted a couple of hours of my life in comparison to the dreck Disney saddled us with (and makes us cough up cash for). I'm really happy you were able to finish this and I'm very much looking forward to what you have in store for your version of TROS (and hopefully it won't take another 6 months, but in any case I'll still be here!). To comment on one thing specifically, at least here in your version, Luke doesn't die of fucking Force Skype of all things. He actually takes responsibility for his actions, shows up in person, and sacrifices himself heroically.

Haha yeah. Lipstick on a pig is a greatanalogy. I'm actually planning on doing a few shorter videos because I don't think my Rise of Skywalker video will be short, and I do want to have something in the mean time to upload. And yeah Luke dying in the Disney version felt so unnecessary! Rey can heal people from death and be fine but Luke Force Skypes and it uses up his health bar

@@kcreviews8161 I was actually thinking the other day, it would've made more sense to me if the film didn't foreshadow via one of Kylo's conversations that Force projection could kill you, but instead that it just took a lot of effort, and that Luke's death was instead a result of him being "out of shape," so to speak, having cut himself off from the Force for several years, and then suddenly straining himself with an intense use of the Force. I still wouldn't have liked it, and it still might have been rather hackneyed, but since the story was already a mess, I might have bought that like 5% more. Looking forward to your other stuff in the meantime!

I'm gonna propose one little change. I haven't seem the RoS rewrite yet but this is just a quick idea. Instead of that scene being the last we see of Rey, I think it'd be cool if she becomes angry and cuts off Kylo's hand as he's holding it out (because let's keep the theme of Skywalker losing hands yeah?). She Force Pushes him back and begins to fight the guards (this can be our guard fighting scene if we don't have it after killing Snoke). She fends them off for a while but in a desperate attempt, she force pushes everyone away. In doing so, however, she accidently uses force lightning as her anger taps her into the darkside. (I like the idea of Ray still being a potentionally powerful force wielder regardless of lacking heritage. Not only that, but the theme of Luke fearing the darkside would go hand in hand with Ray using a newly developed hatred for Kylo for killing the only father figure she's ever had bc he took advantage of his own privilege). The remaining guards try to attack, but Kylo tells them to let her leave as he realizes she might be closer to joining him in the dark side than he realized. She escapes in a ship, not knowing where she's going and THATS when we last see Ray. Like I said I haven't seen the next rewrite so this may not work with the overall narrative, but it sounds cool yeah? In any case, this was amazing and my new personal canon! Thank you for this

How much of a character assassination is it really for Han to cheat on Leia in a world where he struggles to find his role in government, running a galaxy, following the law etc., while Leia is killing it as a top level politician, leaving him in her shadow ?
@occam7382
@occam7382 10 ай бұрын
Because as far as we know, Han isn't a cheater. Also, he had an entire trilogy's worth of a character arc where he learned to forego his selfishness and ego, and ultimately be more loyal to his friends and family. Han wouldn't try and cheat on Leia if she made it in politics while he was struggling to find his place. He would probably do the exact opposite actually, and find a way to support her and help her out (in his own zany way of course).

Eh no plaguies returning fits. He was obsessed with immortality and was part of the reason Anakin was born as him and his apprentice tried to manipulate the force for their own purposes but failed and as a result the chosen one in Anakin was born so despite having only 1 line he plays a huge part in the birth and lead up to Anakin and the fall of the Jedi: having him return as the main villain for the final 3 films makes sense. He senses his apprentice is about to kill him and transfers himself to a clone body where he is rots away in hiding building a secret army o destroy sidious but Anakin did it for him now all he needs to do is find a worthy apprentice in Skywalkers grandson and he can finally take control of the galaxy as something more then just a Sith Lord. That overall plot fits way better and makes sense: doesn’t throw out Anakin killing sidious or anything

Concerning the role of the Jedi in the sequels, it should be a case of reconstructing them in a way that they don't fall short like they did in the PT. The Jedi Order allowed themselves to be destroyed in the prequels by compromising their position as 'keepers of the peace' and becoming soldiers for the Republic in the Clone Wars, which allowed the Sith to rise and destroy them. So, the sequels could perhaps advocate for something where there's a separation of church and state so to speak, where the Jedi don't become so swept up in the affairs and bureaucracy of the Republic that they can't fulfill their duty. Reform the Jedi to prevent the return of the Sith, reform the Republic to prevent the return of the Empire. The whole thing about the Jedi not being allowed to form attachments is something that's rooted in Buddhist philosophy. It's not about shutting off your emotions, it's about controlling them so that you don't get too possessive of things and other people to the extent that you can't let go. It's selfish attachment Vs selfless compassion. And the idea of raising children to become Jedi is something heavily implied to be done with consent, in a similar manner to how Tibetans would choose their Dalai Lama.

Amen to JJ ruining the ST and not Rian. The most irritating line in the whole trilogy for me was: 'A good question, for another time'. Because it sums up the whole trilogy. I want this moment, onscreen, right now, for a cheap, one-hit emotional sucker punch, no build-up, no thought for the consequences, and I just run off laughing into the double sunset with Disney dollars clasped in my grubby little hands. Haven't watched this second vid of yours yet, but if it's as well-though-out as your Ep VII I'll enjoy it. Well done 🙂

You really agree with your assessment that The Last Jedi had some really good ideas that are just poorly executed. I’ve argued that for years. I also think that the TLJ would have, in the long view, be viewed more favorably if The Rise of Skywalker and leaned in and built upon the ideas of TLJ instead of just trying to undo the who film.

Working within the constraint of using the Disney trilogy as a blueprint and trying to make it work, I think you're doing a good job with the rewrites. But I would rather see the story deviate more when it would make a better story. From his first appearance, Snoke has always just struck me as Discount Palatine. So I would have preferred ditching him all together. The same with bringing back Palatine himself. Maybe the characters could be fighting against plans the Emperor put in motion before he died instead? Just a thought.
@occam7382
@occam7382 10 ай бұрын
I can agree on that. I don't really buy the comment that Palpatine should be the main villain because having a villain with no relation to the other six movies wouldn't be satsifying. George introduced plenty of villainous characters throughout the movies that often didn't survive the movie they were introduced in that still had a major impact. And of course, the one thing that tied them all together was their relation to Palpatine. I've always thought that the Sequel Trilogy should focus on the legacy of Palpatine as much as it focuses on the legacy of Anakin. For the latter, this is quite easy: Han and Leia's kids are the main protagonists. For the former, that's not too hard to figure out either: Have a villain (or villains) that are in one way or another a product of Palpatine. Whether it be his greatest tactician Thrawn, the successor of his old apprentice Talon, or some of his many loyal officers Sloane, Veers, and Pelleaon.

I know im catching this late but your arguments about Luke’s view on the Jedi are great, and those are exactly why cal kestis stands out to me as such an awesome character. Luke didn’t deal with half the stuff cal and the Jedi of order 66 went through, but Cal still held the responsibility of a Jedi, but also understands that they were flawed and needed a change (hence why he gives into his feelings with merrin). Luke being so salty about Jedi order just because his nephew had anger problems is so soft and made no sense

Well since you said you wanted feedback, and I'm a very negative person, I'll just comment on some of the thins I disagree with. Assume if I don't bring it up I liked it or was, at worst, not unhappy with that point in your script. -I want a backstory for Snoke. It doesn't need to be that he was behind the scenes the whole time. I just want him to have a backstory, I want to find out who he was. We know Palpatine was a senator in the old republic. There's other stuff before that presumably, and I'm sure the EU has loads of extra info, but assuming the films need to stand on their own (and they do!) then knowing their background matters. It doesn't need to be a big tie-in with other events, just tell me who he is. Say he's some old Sith Lord who was in hibernation or something for hundreds of years, awakened after the death of Palpatine rippled through the force and revealed there was now an opening. Say _anything._ But don't let there be nothing, no explanation at all. -Somewhat related, I don't think Palpatine needs to be the villain. I don't see why Snoke can't be. I just fundamentally disagree with your assessment that the main villain HAS to be someone from the first 6 films. I think it can be perfectly satisfying to have this trilogy have its own villain. Bringing Palpaine back undermines the victories of the OT. You bring up Harry Potter and LotR, but the difference is we don't see the events of Voldemort or Sauron's original defeats in those books. They're not about their first big showing. It feels acceptable there because from our perspective, from the context we have as an audience, this is what we know, this is what the story is about. But with Star Wars we've SEEN Palpatine and his rise to power, as well as his fall. Having him come back therefore hits very differently from those other two book series. -I don't think Rey should join Keylo at the end. I don't care how broken up she is, I don't care that her worldview just got shattered. The fact remains that she has people she cares about who are in direct opposition to The First Order, who Keylo has and will presumably continue to try to murder. Yeah, it sucks to bring out your parents were shit and abandoned you for nothing but why would she betray the people she knows, the people who rescued her from slavery? -Similarly I don't like her parents just selling her for some "drinking money." Yeah part of it is because that's depressing as hell and I don't like it (which I think is a perfectly good reason to not want something in your entertainment! I'm not saying it's bad just that I don't like it or want it) but part of it is also just that it's a letdown. There's been 2 films worth of buildup for this and to have it be such a shitty thing as that, such a wet fart, feels like mockery from the writer. I'm not saying her parents have to be big shots, or people important to the franchise. They can just be normal dudes and/or dudettes. But make it less bleak than that. If you still want something sad/bitter, have it be that they sold her to pay off gambling debts or something, _but did plan on coming back to buy her back._ But they died in space pirate attack on their ship before they could return. Hey look, this ties in with The First Order's whole thing about how the new republic can't protect its people and harsher, more brutal forms of justice are needed!

I always thought it would work if snoke were someone who infiltrated the upper echelon of the new republic and was a powerful weapons dealer or supplier for the empire. The fact that this imperial remnant is well supplied with new imperial tech told me that they had one or many wealthy benefactors. That would be why snoke was in supreme leader, because he controlled the pursestrings. That also sets Hux up to be a more worthy competitor to Kylo because he can badmouth Kylo to all their creditors and suppliers. You set that up pretty well before by having Hux be all about making alliances

I'm curious, have you read about what Lucas's plans for the sequel trilogy were? What are your thoughts on it? I've often been curious to see a rewrite of the sequels based on his original vision for it, and predicting what may have occurred based on the narrative poetry he implemented across the OT and PT

I think I've watched the Mr Sunday Movies video on Lucas's original plans, but I haven't seen that much in detail on it. Yeah might have been fun to see if I could have worked some of that stuff in. I'm still in the redrafting process of Episode IX so maybe I can see if I can take any inspiration for that

@@kcreviews8161 It's a similar premise to yours that the sequels would have been a drawn out victory for the heroes as they attempt to rebuild the Republic and having to oppose the Imperial remnants and crime lords (under Maul), as well as reconstructing the Jedi Order. Additionally, the Whills and their connection to the Force was going to be explored. What I find interesting is how Lucas said that the trilogy was going to start 'several years' after ROTJ, which suggests that episode 7 may have only occurred 3-5 years after ROTJ and then episodes 8 and 9 would jump forward a few decades to focus on the Skywalker grandchildren. Theres much more to speculate and discuss, but that's kind of the crux of it.

You definately have a more cohesive saga than Disney. I still don't like bringing Palpatine back but I don't hate it as much in your version. Having watched both this and your episode 7, I agree that TFA is fundamentally the problem with the sequal trilogy. It's not worse than ROS but few if any movies are, and a lot of what's bad about ROS is forshaddowed by JJ's production in TFA (ie Rey's Theme having Palpatine's theme contained within it-guaruntee JJ pushed John Williams in that direction without leaving an official outline saying the story was going there or even setting up the world to make it make sense). Ideally if I were to rewrite the sequal trilogy I would use The Last Jedi and ONLY The Last Jedi as a foundation. I think there's a lot to be expanded apon with Canto Byte-it does make sense to have them as the final villian of the saga, to expand apon it and your idea of him not being force sensitive, perhaps Snoke should essentially be an "evil Wizard of Oz" that's doing it in the name of weapons sales, he gets revealed but the fighting continues. I also like the idea of both Rey and Snoke being "no one" as that senario sets up (rather than something inspirational, it's commentary on war and who you're really fighting for. No matter how good you believe your cause to be, you're ultimately fighting for some no one and buying weapons from the same place as your enemy). Another good option: just rip off Legond of Korra seasons 3 and 4. There has been no shortage of people observing ATLA and Star Wars similarities. The idea of an anarchist "villian" that good people might find themselves cheering for and a true tyrant trying to force everyone to submit to a system pre-old republic in which the current Republic needs to unite with the anarchist faction could certainly make something interesting that doesn't just rehash old movies. Grant it Rian Johnson tried to do this with Kylo Ren but for "let old things die" it needed to be "the first order". Not just Snoke. The fact that he fundamentally believes in The First Order makes that arc not possible.

OK so now some constructive feedback. OK the main issue everyone had with TLJ is the handling of Luke. I don't think you've bettered that in any way. I'm completely fine with him dying in this movie/rewrite but at least make it good. Not him randomly saving someone he doesn't know, after teleporting into a ship just so the plot can save Poe. I would have him attempt to save Rey or Kylo and die while doing it. Personally I would have liked him to have encountered Snoke and realised it was palpatine before dying. Snoke should be force sensitive. Already you've allowed Kylo to make decisions based solely on the force, how could he respect Snoke if he wasn't even force sensitive. Also dark side users respect strength so it only makes sense for Snoke to be a dark side user who is more powerful. You could just make him someone who was from the unknown regions or a fallen jedi from order 66, anything really. He has to die for palpatine to be the main bad guy. Otherwise I think they've been good

I think it would probably be between one and two years for both, but maybe even slightly longer for the gap between TLJ and TRS. Rise of Skywalker will be set when the First Order are eclipsing the New Republic in terms of power, so it'd probably be more like 3-4 years

I'll nitpick something: I didn't see Luke being jaded by the Jedi as the equivalent of someone condemning liberal democracy for failing to stop fascism, but more that Luke was calling out what had become a dogmatic institution more committed to its traditional practices than to the "living Force"...but that's also partly my head canon coming into play, that Lucas was too afraid to show the flaws of the Jedi order in the prequels, which could've led more directly to Anakin's fall and fed well into Luke's feelings in episode 8. Still, I liked the idea of challenging the old binary of simplistic good and evil in the story, as there's a meta concern that if Star Wars is to continue as a series it has to explore deeper themes, and I thought the first two thirds of the actual episode 8 did an ok job of that (plus, I enjoyed Johnson trying to destroy as many of Abrams' absurd "mystery boxes" as possible)...too bad the final third of the movie basically ruined all of it, by once again *setting everything back to the status quo*. I walked out of the theater for that one thinking "Huh, guess there's no reason to watch episode 9, everything's going to stay the same no matter what", so you adding an ending to this that actually leaves some ambiguity, doubt, and a cliffhanger is something that film really needed.

Okay, so lemme get this straight… You keep the part where Luke pulls a lightsaber out on his nephew while he's sleeping, all because of a bad vision he had of him potentially turning to the darkside one day. After all, being a jedi is hard and being Luke Skywalker: the man is different from being Luke Skywalker: the legend. That, and there never really was any guarantee that killing him wouldn't have been for the greater good. Fair enough. Upon hearing his side of the story, Rey has a hard-to-heart with Luke about how failure is the best teacher and that we are what we grow beyond. Here, the man finally renews his old resolve to go out and be the best Luke Skywalker and jedi that he can be, even if it kills him. And since this is a Star Wars story, official or otherwise, the bad guys’ evil plan is more complicated than it may seem and the good guys will have to split up and kill multiple birds with one stone because of it. Also, this being Star Wars, practically anything can happen, as long as there's precedent for it. But, as we all know, it's not really Star Wars unless everything that happens in it ultimately circles back to the main characters’ emotional baggage and their interpersonal relationships. Because of this, I understand perfectly well why anyone in their right mind-including Rian Johnson-would intuit that somewhere towards the end of a story like this would be a good time for Poe to learn a lesson about his impulsiveness and his trust issues, for some type of wedge to be driven between him and Finn, and for Rey to find out her parents were less than nobody. Now, as an aspiring writer myself, I understand all too well the process of realizing I need to get the characters from point B to point C somehow, hence why I would start writing a list of all the most believable ways in which I could accomplish this. Before official publication, though, it's important to remember that nothing's set in stone; if you find out later on that something you wrote intuitively leads to something strange, anticlimactic, and contrary to the story’s themes, there's nothing stopping you from going back and changing what this inciting event is. That said, just about anything could have led to Poe finding out the hard way that he was deceived and that his hubris could potentially lead to the loss of multiple Resistance members’ lives. Just about anything could have been the deus ex machina to come along and help him and as many other people as possible to escape from an exploding ship. And at the same time, just about anything could have given Luke the perfect excuse to use his jedi powers one last time and in a particularly epic way that results in him fading away into the force. Now, we all know how Rian Johnson decided to do all this. In his version, it's Yoda’s force ghost that appears before Luke and gets him to rejoin the fight. Also, Luke technically doesn't do anything afterwards so much as he conjures a force projection of himself to do something in his place. All the same, he's still able to meet with C3P0 one last time, kiss his sister goodbye, and face off with his nephew, all while buying the Resistance time to escape. And since this is apparently an overexertion on Luke's part, he also subsequently merges with the force. In spite of this, he still passes his courage to keep fighting unto Rey and Leia. That, and stories of this epic final battle are somehow able to reach orphaned kids in Canto Bight, serving to inspire them as well. Now compare all that with his send-off in THIS version of the story. In it, Poe realizes he's been duped and that the ship is about to blow with multiple Resistance members on board. So who comes to save the day? Luke. How does he do it? He assures Poe he has this taken care of and uses telekinesis to hold back the explosion. And when he senses it's a good time to do so, THEN he merges with the force. And once I hear you describe this, all I can do is sit there and ask, “That's it? No visit from Yoda’s ghost? No interaction with 3P0 or Leia? No final confrontation with Ben? No lightsaber battle? He just goes out in an explosion? He doesn't even save anyone with a name? Do he and Poe talk in this story even once before this happens? Would it really have been THAT hard to come up with a way to just have Luke and Snoke fight each other to the death? How is ANY of this an improvement over what happened in The Last Jedi?!?” Worse yet is the fact that you clearly understand a lot of the basics and some of the most subtle things about Star Wars lore. You also demonstrate creativity in your ways of solving problems that your writing presents you with. And on top of that, you also understand the importance of critical thinking and occasionally making sacrifices in service of a more functional story. Because of this, you’re able to take the time and energy to explain how Holdo's hyperspace ramming technique could have made more sense. You incorporate a subplot that results in Poe accidentally blowing up Finn’s family offscreen. You explain why you decided to not establish Snoke as having powers. That, and you explain how Palpatine apparently HAD to be resurrected for the third and final movie and keeping Snoke around was just somehow never an option. All this time and creativity you spent to come up with all these other things, and yet you couldn't do the same for Luke Skywalker’s death? You just provide some vague descriptions of him training Rey and then he explodes? And if you're going to not notice ahead of time how poorly this functions as a send-off for Luke Skywalker, how does it not raise questions of what other gigantic, important things you’ve unwittingly overlooked? How is this supposed to assure me that your rewrite of Episode IX isn't going to be more of the same? tldr: I don't often defend Rian Johnson's writing choices in The Last Jedi, but this time, I felt sorely obligated to make an exception. Good sir, you need to start this writing project all over and completely rethink your process of killing off Luke Skywalker. And this time, don't make your audience say, “That's it?”

I don't dislike the idea that Luke could be tempted to kill Ben, in fact I love it, but we need to see more justification for something like that to happen after Luke becomes a Jedi Master. The way the movie did it alongside the moody way he acts just makes it feel like someone else. Your take is much more in-line with a trajectory I could actually see for Luke I don't dislike the idea of Rey's parents being nobodies, but what bothered me about the original is that the identity of Rey's parents was never the thing she cared about. She didn't care if they were important, she just wanted to see them again. It really annoyed me that Kylo Ren essentially talks to the audience to provide a meta response to the fan questions instead of telling Rey anything useful to her. The way Rian wrote it just made it seem like Rey grew a massive ego during the course of the film with no real build up or payoff. I think you could have the same answer, but just skew it to actually answer Rey's questions, and it would be really good (Your parents were never coming back, they sold you off and gave you hope that they would return to make sure you played nice with your new master etc etc) Those are my thoughts on those moments you referenced in the movie. While overall I really like your reimagining of the film, especially considering the restrictions you self-imposed, I do have one criticism for your version too: I REALLY dislike how Luke dies. Why would he suddenly appear on a random ship to save random people he's never met, and then sacrifice himself doing it in the process? I had to rewind the video to check I wasn't missing something. It's plausible that it was the will of the force or something, but it feels a massive plot convenience and a very trivial event for a character as huge as Luke to die. Luke dying isn't a problem, but it needs to feel earned in my opinion

I fuckin love the rewrites mate. But in this one I'd probably change up some things -Remove the deep core fight as it feels more like filler than a significant plot progression -Keep the deep core fight but shorten it to a few minutes, then when Poe's about to get smoked, Luke shows up to save the day, gets burned to a near crisp but still remains alive yet deeply wounded so he can die trying to save Kylo on Saltland, maybe using an incredibly straining mind trick that basically makes Kylo fight his own demons. Like a sort of Force Exorcism that only really strong Jedi have, nearly costing their lives depending on how bad the dark side is embedded into the target. -If Palpatine is to be the villain, physically or in reference, then I'd make the ending pan out like this : Luke tries to convince Kylo, uses force exorcism as a last resort, Kylo's dark side takes him over unable to overcome the guilt of killing his own father and he gets an insane power boost. He starts electrecuting weakened ol' Luke's force skype to "death", intercutting with Palpatine doing the same in ROTJ as if he was posessed by him, but at this point Luke had used so much of the force that he passes away. Kylo's face is alot more like Anakin's now, basically at a point of no return as he begins slaughtering Republic troops on the planet's surface. -Now that would conflict with the scene of Rey and Kylo's last scene being them together, so I'd wager once Kylo tells her about her parents, she goes on a fit of desperate rage and starts overwhelming him only for him to knock her out and put her on his ship, where the conversation between them can pick upin the next movie All things considered, I'm anxious for, god forsake its name, the fated episode 9. Good luck! lol
