i've found the base trot speed of sucho us slow enough and turns sharp enough to ride a rex without having to toggle the walk on and off. really helpful cuz ik how awkward of a speed change it can be from the Craaawling walk speed and then jolting forward with the run. its a bit off. but the regular trot speed does the trick nicely

You did good more than average Suchos does against a Rex. From what I seen you usually time your attacks for both attacking and defense, you don’t go reckless and is patience. On this one , you decided in the end to try end it soon,when you check it was getting dark and you did what you said not to close to his body and Rex got you.

mistake was z turning in left side your tail got caught while running common rookie mistake. Any big rider even alberto or all must do long circles yes but only bite at right side taking good angle having good anticipation and prediction skills as well as usage of z to reposition but only at the right side never at left , thats a danger zone and very very hard to ride there
