I think it really depends on the context in which he said it. I think it much more likely that he was worried about his family and his coworkers finding out that way. More a need to "control the narrative" than wanting attention. After all, he cried when he was arrested. This guy did NOT want to be caught.

Yes,unless watching and hearing him ask? There is no way to gauge why he asked if it was in the news. Like with Chris Watts, in his interview (that is available to watch and listen to), he was worried and embarrassed over what his co workers would think. He even stated (Watts) his co workers would say- “Chris,what have you done?” Or similar to that…. It boggles the mind.If you’re guilty? You’ll spend the rest of your days in prison and what people say or think won’t matter outside of prison walls. It obviously takes a while for that fact to sink into these killers….

Here are a couple of questions I don’t understand about this suspect. 1) I’m confused on how an architect lives in a dilapidated residence, 2) in the news it was mentioned that he had unpaid taxes of over $400,000.00, meaning, he must be making some substantial income, 3) a supermarket manager in their neighborhood in Long Island also said that they only saw his wife and kids shopping but without him and they always paid with food stamps. Isn’t there an anomaly of so called facts here? I hope to see the light of day with these questions. Thank you.
