Micah says he's the new LT, so teams are treating him like LT. The 49ers were the first team to let LT come upfield, trap him with a guard, and either run inside him or pass a circle route to the back behind him. The Giants went from a playoff team to 3-6 (in the strike year). Once he figured out how to crash inside when he recognized the run, the Giants started to win again.

Why? Dak didn't play that bad until he threw his int. He was missing is entire offensive line against a team that was tied for second in sacks coming into this week. He didn't have enough time to let receivers get free enough to throw them the ball down field. No one even had this narrative until Dak had a bad year last year. People seem to just ride whatever comments or narratives that the media gives them, and can't make their own opinions, like your comment up above. The Cowboys haven't had a good defense until the last like two years, and Dak spent one of those with a broken thumb that never even fully healed. Before that, they had a garbage defense that constantly gave up enormous amounts of points. Yet for some reason Dak continued to win them games.

About the Bears and their 'attempt' to coaching a QB: A coaches job is to take the talent they have and find out what they do well, then put them in positions where they can use what they do well to succeed. If I was coaching Justin Fields, I would be using RPO's all day. Off of that I'd throw it to D.J. Moore as my first option no matter how the play is drawn up, much like the Ravens did in 2000 with Shannon Sharpe. Its not much, but it is what he can do well enough. The coaching is terrible on that front at least...

Ryan Clark is so wrong. The defense showed up eventually. The offense didn't capitalize. Micah and the defense got two straight 3 and outs. Dak and the kicked 2 field goals and turned the ball over twice in the redzone. Yeah, the defense gave up one more big play but the offense should've already taken the game back by then.
