Dallas didn't lose that game last night, they lost it in the offseason. Key players not in training camp, no marquee players added, key players walked and backfilled with rookies. Derrick Henry did everything but beg Dallas to take him... but instead they took Zeke, who repaid them by rattling off 6 yards on 3 carries! But it's not all Zeke's fault, he's a good back behind a good line... but Dak was running for his life behind that line!!! 54 yards on the ground? It seems like players contracts might be too big to get real help in there... but somehow, SF, Philly, and Detroit are able to build all-star rosters with similar big contracts.

Remember when they were talking about Mike Zimmer was going to make this defense better than what Dan Quinn and Joe Witt did with it prior to them going to Washington? Well, Dallas went from the middle of the pack rushing defense to the worst run defense in the league. With Washington and Philly having good rushing attacks, Dallas is going to be on life support if they do manage to somehow make the playoffs this season with 9 games against really good rushing attacks left on their schedule.

When Coach Tomlin was on the Pivot Podcast he talked about how most coaches don't wanna coach players anymore, they just want ready made plug and play players. Justin Fields is an example of that everyone said he was done after Chicago no he just needed to be helped along by a good coach. Malik Willis and Jordan Love helped along by the GB coach especially Willis the coach giving him a system he can run efficiently.

As a cowboy fan it is getting old watch Dak suck for most of the game and then when the defense lets up he piles up a bunch of yards in a loss and he gets credit for "trying". It was not a matter of him fighting but the Ravens going to an incredibly soft coverage leaving receivers wide open so that every QB signed to an NFL team could complete a pass to him. I noticed Rex said that the cowboys should have done everything to stop the run even if it means the QB throws for 500 yards. Is he unable to see that it is exactly what teams have done to Dallas? They are fine with letting Dak put up yards and get MVP votes because they know he really is unable to carry the team unless they are playing a crappy team.
