I think people are misreading the writing of Rex’s character from season 1 to season 2: They didn’t write him to become a better person all of a sudden- they built him to be a massive asshole intentionally in season 1 so that his character growth is far more satisfying and believable- and it is both this season. Truly I think Rex is one of the best written characters in Invincible (and there are a lot of great written characters in this show)

I love how in many series that have heroes and cybernetics, and when a person has an arm that can turn into a gun, they go something like, "Huh." then point at an enemy while waiting for the weapon to be ready to fire.
