I wouldn’t worry too much about that bend in the chassis it wouldn’t be that structurally damaged just put it back together fix the front end up and send it still fine for a daily in my option

My cousin dinged the front of his altezza. Not as severe, but chucked the tow rope on the tow bar of another car and gave it a few tugs. Straightened out pretty nice

Definitely needs to go on a rack/car-o-liner if you want to fix the car. If you know a panel beater that’s up for the job doesn’t hurt to ask. But if you don’t have access probably best do a reshell unfortunately

There's a machine or contraption for straightening frames. Jimmy Oakes has done it a few times. It's literally a chain connected to something that won't break and pulled out

Hey Rex, Sorry about the AU mate that's shattering. I live around the corner from ya and walk my dog past your place all the time, I've got a winch on my hilux and would be happy to come round so we can try winch it out. I've done it before to straighten mates trays etc. If you want a hand just send me a message and I'll pop over to have a look and see what we can do.

Tuff rig + chain, start with very small tugs and go from there, years ago me and my dad straightened a vn commodores front end in our back yard with a chain and a hilux.. got it near straight (not perfect) but made fender gap match all round still, it’ll never be perfect again unless you spend big coin but you can make it look pretty on the outside still mate

Mate that damage is nothing at all. Kinda funny to watch these last vids with how you all react to alittle bit of damage... Chain it up to a tree and reverse it back will come good done it 100's of times and just space out the guards and bonnet if needed or get it on a rack and would take maybe 3 pulls no longer then 10 minutes... I wouldn't even worry about damage if it was me.

Can pull it with a chain around the chassis and rad support, with the GQ just be careful cause chain can snap rad support can rip, but one guy on the brakes in the Au and one driving the GQ should work just go slow

Snatch strap the impact point to Tuff Rig and give it a couple of tugs in the right direction, you'll watch the damage fold itself straight again piss easy. in my experience, au falcons have a really easy body to straighten back out, she's not finished just yet bro haha

My panel beater managed to pull out my reo bar and it looks like nothing ever happened it definitely can be done with the right tools

Slap another rack in it, of the sub frame is bent or cracked swap it out, correct it in the wheel alignment. You won't be able to pull the front straight or back to how square it was before unless you get it put on a bench or a old style pulling system as you gotta pin the rest of the car. I reckon if you replaced everything and went into a smash shop and see if they can pull it for cash im sure you will find someone to do it cheap. Or could experiment with a portapower but I don't think you'd achieve a whole heap

contact a few bodyshops, this can be fixed in a frame straightening rack, someone will have one

I reckon save time dont reshell but rather repair the mechanical side of things and get a wheel alignment and toe adjusted to compensate the bent chassis

My and my dad used his truck winch to pull a frame out but it's a big winch, otherwise you strap it down and pull it with a strap off like the tuff rig or something

It won't make a difference the handling either cause the bent is in front of the suspension so make the front end fit and change the rack and go set it again

a panel shop can straighten it quite easily, and a new subframe from imlachs and some panels and you are back baby that small kink is nothing you should see what panel shops fix you would be horrified, look up chassis straightening on yt, also please don't shave your sway bar, first corner it will flex and snap they are under a lot of stress and its sprung steel, it would be like tour coils rubbing on your rims just get a small spacer and she'll be right
