thank you! unfortunately, silencers of any kind are illegal in Canada :/ even shrouded barrels that reduce sound aren't aloud

What are burst discs?

@@johnw8916 they're a small, thin, peice of metal that goes in the area between the bottle and the valve, if you over fill the gun the burst disk will burst and release the pressure in the gun, this ensures that the gun can't over pressurize and fail in a more dangerous way.
