You can just look for youself, there are videos with properly built c0 Lingyang doing hazard tower in 70 seconds, and they're doing more damage than this c6 poor lad Also, if you read what his sequences are doing, you'll realize that its just a bunch of dmg% multipliers, so its obvious that its not gonna do much to low multipliers of lvl6 talents. Honestly, much love to Rexlent, but I dont know what he was trying to do making showcase this weird. Maybe he couldnt get weekly boss materials, since you need a lot of those, and you get only 9 per week?

Agreed, not to mention he is using an ATK/ATK Echo set. For sure he himself knows this is nowhere near Lingyang's full potiential haha but hey, if this is what it takes for Kuro to actually give my son a few buffs here and there why not 😂

​@@jonathanvillocillo3671 actually, atk\atk is smart because as I said before, Lingyang's sequences are just bunch of dmg% buffs, and they're huge, so diminishing returns are stronger. so its very logical to go for atk\atk, it should be more damage that dmg% ones. For s0 Lingyang dmg% would be better thou its okay, I'm sure Rex knows that it was not optimal, but I think it should be mentioned in the video so people would not judge character's perfomance

Lingyang's sequences are more on increasing damage multipliers rather than bumping up their actual dmg bonus stats (except s3 and s4 which will provide him with 20% BA, 10% Skill, and 20% Glacio) so even with all that, his Glacio + BA Dmg bonus will only hit up to 12+12+20+20+50=114% total and I feel that is still kinda low (edit: S6 is a +100% BA dmg bonus on first hit after skill). That's why he is hitting those cutesy 9k dmg with full team rotation when s0-s2 people are hitting 14k - 16k on BA dmg. I'd rather say he is overcompensating in ATK as 3100 atk before buffs is already too big I dare say, and toning it down to 2600 for 30% more elemental dmg bonus will not hurt.

@askaniofebialfaro1559 I honestly just made my Yuanwu a tanky monster stacking a crap ton of main/sub stat Def on him. Along with the Amity Accord fists. Since his forte damage and shield scale off defense. Yuanwu also wouldn't care much for Liberation damage as, unfortunately, the liberation damage is its own scaling and won't scale off his def. His Liberation is just for the shield anyway as the damage is underwhelming. Looks fkn cool tho.

I also play lingyang S0R1 with abyss surge and Verity's Handle, Glacio set. Updated vid with Glacio dmg or 3 cost if possible. My lingyang can clear the tower. For me he is Better than calc. He works well with sunhua compared to calc with yinlin.

Honestly, lingyang isn't too far off from being in a good spot...lowkey him and calc need some of the shit they gave xiangli yao, and they'd both be fine. Some built-in anti interrupt and an ACTUAL INSTALL, not just an 11 second fiesta to get all of 2 attacks off. Good stuff rex. I don't actually think people rly think a well-built lingyang is still a bad dps anymore but if they do they're just hating cause they can. Which is fine, to each their own.
