After reading Acacia story i really like her. She is literally gamer girl from 2020s frozen in hibernation for 30 years. And making a lot of refferences that we as players understand, but ig characters don't. Then she beats other gamers in online using normal gamepad when others have neural something-something (imo because skill level lowered after these years).

Honestly I am enjoying this game quite a bit more than I was expecting. I first tried it on mobile and didn't have a good experience but then I installed it on PC and it flows really well. I came for the story but ended up hooked to the game play just as much. My main complains would be that the gacha being a 50/50 pity is just plain disgusting regardless of the price of premium currency or availability through weeklies , and also that the amount of time needed to fulfill every weekly milestone seems excessive, like literally you would need to turn this game into your second job to give it enough hours to do all the missions. so far I am liking the story and find half the characters very likable (especially best girl Yao of course) the other half are archetypes I don't feel particularly strong about in either direction, but that's ok, it just means there is a little bit for everyone. lastly, congrats on the sponsorship Rex! you deserve all the deals coming your way.

The game truly has potential to be good in the future it has a decent gameplay for a shooter game and the dorm system is one of the best ive seen in any gacha game and dev listening to its playerbase is a huge W for me

I'm glad I'm not the only one who really likes the Dorm! A lot of people are saying it's too white and boring, but for me it looks very clean and comfy, and it's the thing that finally tips me over to buying the monthly pass. I would love to be able to live in a place like that IRL, everything is so clean and comfy, the view is also amazing!

Been loving the game soo far mysef the combat and bosses is decent to keep me entertain as a action and past shooter lover only thing i have proplem with is that the co op take soo long to do if u have bad teammate and the gacha is on par with genshin with it 5050 but overall its a good game id recc its one of the better game coming out this year

Its a very fun game that brings a unique shooter gameplay to the gacha scene, but like most gacha games, the pacing gets time gated with need for levels to unlock content and material grinding behind the Presence system, so its something to make a "main game" but it is well deserving of being a side game to pick up for dailies and drop back in for future content drops. I'm hopeful that they will add more ungated time sinks to the game eventually, more interesting co-op modes or time attacks.

Acacia is so cute and cultured lol she made many references about comics and real world media. Second best for me is Fenny, she may looks like tsundere at first but she's actually an angel with the shotgun, she is kind, brave, easy going and she shines brightly, she'll protect you😍 her story about the dance with her is captivating my heart I still need to try reading others girls story to see if anyone can beat Fenny.

There's a thing in the game as well about standard ballistic damage i think? Standard ballistic damage is hip fire damage i think? So buffs where standard ballistic damage boosts, its only through hip fire and ADS ballistic damage is different, so there are times you will need to hip fire for those buffs to be of use like the dharma logistic set. Kinda the reason why i really like marian 5* with her aim bot hip fire.

I think a good way to sum up my impression would be to say that it looks like a Serious Sam tier game that tries to compete at the time when the bar for colourful multi-char shooters is set by things like Overwatch at its heyday or Apex Legends, game mode difference notwithstanding. In that sense, making the characters and the setting exaggerated or nonsensical on occasion is absolutely the right move, because for people who like the design it'd make the game sufficiently unique to let it stand on being 'fun to play in general or not' as opposed to 'more appealing than games X and Y or not'.

Three of my main gripes is that (1) I notice the 4* and 5* variant of the same character shares a lot of voice lines, (2) the U-energy being shared by all your characters and (3) Support Skill is useless in Coop which sucks especially since a lot of characters have really powerful support skill like WH Lyfe. I still find this game very fun regardless and the gunplay feels satisfying.

I'm enjoying the game more than i expected, at first it feels kinda kinda slow with all those story quests but after i unlock Yao 5* it started to get more fun as i get to do more stuff easier xD. Sniping the boss from range.

First expected it to be a mediocre gunslinging waifu collector gacha with crappy gameplay but it turned out to be decent. Playing it on mobile is a PITA but a totally different experience when on PC. Most of the content are fairly easy with a few more challenging ones like Jotun Tunnel or Neural Simulation, but those can also be cleared when you improved your characters and their equipment. So far, I am still able to clear most content using all purple Fenny, Acacia and Fritia, with 3-4* weapons and purple logistics However, this game also included some of the bad things from other games, such as too many things to be grinding for. There's the character level, weapon level + modifications+ parts, logistics, neural link etc. The gacha rate is also horrible with almost every 10-pull being a purple + 9 other 3* weapons Right now, I feel the game to be still attractive enough for me to keep playing (only played for 1.5 days so far) but won't be spending money on it yet. PGR is already taking up all my budget

i think one of the thing that turn me off his how much weekly stuffs you gotta do. there's 3 different weekly mode including weekly Babel(as in PGR's Babel) AND the coop. it requires 1000 point each week but each run with max out unit bonus doesnt even give 100 points; or Maybe im too early in the game. But yeah as a new player you kinda have to rush the story and open stuffs fast

I don't think the game is affected by ping like genshin does if you're playing the single player modes. As for multiplayer modes the enemy can sometimes rubber band even if you have good ping.

@@Rushil_333 nah i dont buy that. my phone struggle to run genshin at medium settings without the game lagging and forever loading screen. i have no issue whatsoever here on snowbreak. you need to check your settings and turn off unnecessary shit there e.g. volume fog, reflection realism, anti aliasing. for a mid range phone that can run hsr and genshin at medium settings like you said, or you're trolling, you should have no problem with proper settings here on snowbreak lol
