We met when I was 14 and we were together the first 3 years of high school. She had the most peacefully calming aura about her. I don't think I knew what love was before I met her. It scared me. I broke up with her just before senior year and messed with other girls for a couple of months before realizing that there wasn't anyone else in the world quite like her. When we got back together, I was so afraid of losing control that I did everything in my power to drive her away from me. She broke things off with me over the internet as Christmas break started and told me that she was moving back to her home state on the other side of the country after she graduates. She told me that she loved me, but was hanging with other guys. She wanted to make me jealous and it really worked. I know that she loved me and she was hurting. After we graduated, she did exactly as she said. She would make an attempt every now and again, through her various steps in life, to reach out to me and catch up. She wanted to maintain a friendship that I was ungrateful for. I resented her. It hurt every time I saw her number or face. Her last attempt was in 2018. She was married, had a beautiful family, and all I've ever been able to show her were the piles of rubble and ash I left behind in my path of self destruction. I finally realized that if she stayed with me, we would have destroyed ourselves. I am so grateful that she got away from that place. I had recently moved away from all of my past and my traumas and was ready to start healing. I finally forgave her and we've been talking nearly every day since. I couldn't imagine my life without her. In a way, I feel that our connection is much deeper than how love is often depicted. I regret denying ourselves that all these years. In 2021, we lost both her husband and my brother; our two most important and favorite people. At 33 we help each other get through the days with self love pep talks, wholesome motivational memes, video games, and music like this. Thank you for sharing this lovely tune.

When I went into 6th grade, I didn't know anything, no friends, alone, sad and then I met a girl who try to help me get along with everyone, she tries to help me with homework, helps me find new friends, help me to see studying is fun. I was her classmate all the way to 9th grade, and through all the fun time with my classmates, I still find times playing with her so memorable, I still remember those moments with her, up until 9th grade I still think her as a best friend, a person I can trust and talk with. But when I enter 9th grade, things started to change, because it's the last class until high school so it's like a goodbye to my old school, more homeworks, more lessons and more times to study. Me and my classmates still worked together to get through the toughest of time, and then I realized that the girl that helps me all this time with finding friends, helping homeworks,... I...I like her, that thought just came out of nowhere but somehow it feels real, she was the only one who actually talks to me when I first enter 6th grade and I just can't describe my feeling right now like why didn't I just say to her how I feel, even at the end of the semester I still couldn't say it, I have a lot of regrets in life and this was the biggest of them all. After all that, I was depressed for a while and had hard time eating but through the help of my friends and me finding new things in life, I have recovered from it. She definitely never going to see this because she only watches our language videos (btw I'm Vietnam and she is too). All I want to say her is: can we meet again please, I miss you and... I like you, thanks for helping me through hard times, Khanh. My English is kinda sucks so sorry Her name is Khanh.

I met a girl at my first job; we were teammates, just the three of us along with our boss. Since meeting her, she caught my attention, but I pushed those feelings aside because I didn't want to pursue a co-worker. We quickly became friends, sharing meals, listening to Spotify, playing horror games after work, and attending work events together (though not as a date). At the end of the parties, I would escort her to her condo. I denied my feelings until they reached a breaking point, and I finally asked her to hang out with me. I feel insecure, bitter, and frustrated. She met her ex on a dating app, a relationship lasting only three months, yet she struggles to move on. Meanwhile, I've been there for her for over a year, and she felt nothing. I want to be her favorite boy, I wanna be the one that makes her day, the one that she thinks about when she lie awake. I never wanted to do it in the first place but I have to. Also, I am scared on what would be my reaction if I finally see her with someone else.
