So my mum told me moths ago that we didn't have money to buy tickets to see Rex and I cried the rest if the day because u was devastated and this was that day tickets first came out for the Australia concert and so I had been looking up the Ticketek website everyday hoping tickets would still be available and that one day we'd gave the money for tickets. My mum and I were in the car on Monday and she was like "I have a present that I wrapped in such a cool way and I'm so excited for you to open it" and I jokingly was like "let me guess it's tickets to Rex" and she had to play it off as if it wasn't. Christmas day comes around and we finished cleaning up after breakfast and started opening present. Mum had asked .r if I wanted to open the present she was most excited about and I obviously said yes. She hands me the present and it's a bunch of little cook books and the a mason jar full of green and red M&Ms. I didn't think anything of it until I saw something white peaking through that M&Ms so I open the jar and pull a sandwich bag out with a something inside it. My hands were shaking at the point and I pulled that white thing out of the bag and opened it up to see 2 tickets to see Rex in concert next year. I cried so hard in front of all my family. By far the best Christmas present of all time

I can’t express the way I feel while I listen to Alex’s songs it just brings me up into such a big happy mood. It feels like I’m falling in love with a song. It makes me float up in the air and want to fly forever. I never want to stop listening to his songs. It makes me so so so happy. I listen to these songs single day. I listen to it making food doing my school work and it honestly makes me so incredibly happy. I love when any of his songs come on my playlist it just makes me float and want to fly forever. I can’t express the love I have for these songs of his. They lift my mood up. Or I listen to his “sad” songs when I’m in a upset mood. I discovered this song 4 years ago by accident and let me tell you, it was one of the best accidents ever. It made my last year in high school much better. I forgot how I downloaded the song when it came since I put my playlist on shuffle. It was one of the songs that I dedicated to my crush since we really had a similar taste in music and we'd usually share songs or artists to each other. She and this song was the reason yellow became my favorite color because of the summer vibes it gives and the it was also the season when she became my girlfriend. It's a bitter-sweet memory since we're not together anymore because our long-term interests really did not seem beneficial for each other as we both came from different religious backgrounds.
