Honestly, when I was around 16 or 17 I kept seeing them in yt compilations and stuff, I was like 'oh they look so cute together'. Now I'm turning 20 and I just finished watching their movie days ago, all the three of them are pretty crazy lol. Honestly I want more of their screentime. I love the part where his dad didn't cared abt his sexuality and he knew it already, he guessed whats between them. Actually I wanted them together in a series but geez it's been almost 11 years since the movie was released.

I related deeply to this short film!!! When I was a young man, I met a somewhat older guy who had sex with me. We became friends, though I always felt a bit of distance on my part, but the sex continued and we went on a long drive/vacation around Lake Superior on our way to the New York World's Fair. At one point we slept in a bed together and he wanted to kiss me, which had not been a part of our sexual adventures. I remember resisiting those kisses which was part of my very slow coming out, which took many years. i really like the non-dialogue aspect with the matching lyrics. Thanks for creating this, whomever you are.

There has been so little good LGBTQ cinema over the years that I can relate to but Brian Smith nailed this role. He is incredibly nuanced in his performance and appeared to know exactly what he was doing in spite of his youth and inexperience when this film was made. There is one scene in particular that I can watch over and over. I'm really liking him in World on Fire but it's such a large ensemble of actors that if you blink you'll miss him.
