"Rad" (short for "radical") was a slang term from the Eighties and Nineties that meant "extremely cool and exciting" or even just "very good." The Smiling Critters are very much modeled after Eighties/Nineties toy and cartoon lines like the Care Bears or the Wuzzles or Yo, Yogi!

I think hoppy died when she was trying to jump to the moon. During her scream bit she wasn’t really screaming, she said Jump but screamed it. Which is why I believe that she wasn’t paying attention and fell off a high platform and died when she hit the bottom. I also think that Piggy Pig eventually died of starvation when she couldn’t find anyone else to eat. Now as for the Bobby Bearhug I’m pretty sure that all the smiling critters abandoned her bc she says “I’ve been lost a long time” and begs us not to leave her alone. So I’m guessing she also eventually died of starvation when she was abandoned bc I don’t think she was evil or capable or hurting others bc of how shy she was. Another theory could be that she was also against the prototypes beliefs like DogDay so maybe Cat Nap eventually found her and killed her too. These are just what I believe happened to them.

But if you listen to Crafty after she screams she says something about having more red or something like that. Also, it wasn't her screaming in pain, it was her screaming in anger for not having anymore red. Since there's more dialog after the scream maybe picky piggy only ate a part of her like a leg or something because Dogday also screams in his recording, but he's still alive(since you encounter him in the game. However, he is missing legs so maybe his scream was him losing his legs and maybe picky piggy only ate a leg or arm of Crafty. Especially since there's warning drawn all throughout the game and Crafty was the one who loved to draw.

i wonder if the smiling critters episode was what the smiling critters went through during the hour of joy? they are all hiding under blankets, which is was the PSA or the alarm said to do when the hour of joy was going on, and outside it’s windy and sounds pretty rough(the screams and killing). when catnap found all of them, they probably panicked and asked him to put them to sleep. the gas is known to give the kids nightmares or drive them insane so maybe this causes them to do what they do when you hear their cardboard cutouts. when you see dog day at the end of the episode, his legs are covered and his arms are up, just like how he is when we find him. all the cardboards were probably recorded when the kids were running around during the hour of joy. the screams at the end were when they were getting killed or tried escaping. except the hug bear did she have a scream? maybe she was with dog day and he told her to escape but she didn’t want to leave him and maybe still alive with the kids? and craftycorn sounds like she went insane and started killing (since she’s asking for red maybe being blood?) sorry that was a lot, just my theory.

I do like the idea that Bobby and Hoppy were together but here’s my idea At the beginning Bobby and Hoppy were together not really knowing what to do till eventually running into Dogday who told them to run and he would send the others out behind them (dogday really just tried to distract Catnap to give them a chance to escape unharmed). They listened and that’s why they tried to escape ending in Hoppy falling and Bobby being left alone…. She tried to go back to where she last saw Dogday but could only find blood so she went deeper carefully to try to find Hoppy but couldn’t even find her body (the protype probably got the body) leaving Bobby alone and lost deep in the building

Compiling on the other points made by the other comments. Hoppy is instructing you to jump and not look at your feet. I very strongly doubt that Hoppy was talking to DogDay. IF these audio recording were made during the chaos of the Hour of Joy, I would assume we would have some kind of background noise. But also, if DogDay was legless at the time of Hoppy's recording. Hoppy would probably not be instructing someone with no legs to jump.....

I don't know about y'all, but I think the pig character, the one who could have eaten three of the other members, may have not killed the other three possibly, but they could have founded their dead bodies and couldn't help but eat them from their own hunger. They even get the idea of eating themself with the comments about "ribs." So the pig could have died from starving or died from eating themselves once they couldn't find anything else... dark? yes, but is it possible? yes.

Here are my theories 1.the screaming could me yes death or they went insane 2.I believe PickyPiggy is a cannibal since she ate KickenChicken, Crafty, and Bubba as heard flayed *unicorn*, grilled *chicken*, and seared *elephant* most likely meaning crafty because she is a unicorn, Bubba because he is an elephant, and KickenChicken because he is a chicken but when Picky says "Still hungry..." she most likely died of starvation. 3.Crafty most likely was eaten by PickyPiggy as I said but she also most likely either killed Bubba or something for the red "paint" that she desperately needed and soon was killed by something or someone and Picky ate her remains. 4.Bobby most likely died of loneliness because she says "I'm lost without you..." meaning she most likely would kill herself if she was alone resulting her death. This is all, I'm still looking into other things but I will update (maybe) if I do find out more! Okay just a thought but, what if the prototype isn't bad. What if he collects all other toys to rebel against those people who made them, but not like the hour of joy but more like to kill everyone for it to not continue on. Especially if we as a player are the employee, that means that there is a chance for all this to continue, to began anew. What if Poppy and others want to kill off the prototype because he wants to end it all, and that somehow would influence her own life. Maybe that's why he locked her up. Maybe Prototype just wants to end it all once for all.

I think CraftyCorn might have been helping Poppy. Poppys area was painted in a lot of red for her flower. And Dogday said that heretics who went against CatNap and the Prototype werent allowed to live. So he was being kept alive, maybe as a food source for the mini critters, and the other critters, besides CatNap were dead.

I feel like this is how it goes. The other Smiling Critters attempted to escape however.... CraftyCorn turned on them by sabotaging Hoppy Hopscotch resulting in Kickin Chikcen's Death. After that, Picky Piggy turned as well killing both CraftyCorn and Bubbaphant and along with Kickin Chicken were eaten. Dog Day and Bobby Bearhug are left. Dog Day probably sacrificed himself to hold off CatNap and possibly Picky Piggy though Bobby still died.

Crafty Corn most likely killed other orphans for their blood, eventually having no more orphans, she resorted to using her own blood, eventually killing her due to blood loss, something that wouldn't warrant screams of death somewhat, the scream in her line was definitely her though, but given how short the scream was, she had that slight feeling of pain my cutting or severing her body. Eventually, Picky Piggy finds her dead body and eats it. Given she used to be an orphan herself, her eating other orphans might give her Kuru, which in turn, makes her insane, and probably becoming schizophrenic, thinking that she is just another orphan, and she needs the blood. There's also a chance that she does all this despite being fully aware that she's killing herself, all for her hunger, and her art. She could also be talking to Huggy Wuggy, or one of the many dead toys seen in chapter 1, since it's practically proven that she was the one drawing on the vents, the other colors obviously being crayon, while the red is blood. Huggy Wuggy was very kind and helpful given he was not agitated, so he complied, unaware of was Crafty Corn was actually doing, eventually running out of toys to kill, Crafty Corn couldn't take Huggy's blood, or perhaps, that's actually what she tried to do, and got herself killed in the process quick and almost painless. Given Huggy Wuggy bites off the head of everyone he kills, they don't have enough time to scream. Crafty Corn is 100% the most interesting one here. Obviously, she's dead to Picky Piggy, but it's not explained how she dies, or what her motives were in the factory after the Hour of Joy, it seemed, she hadn't picked a side, and only cared about what she loved most... Her art, and anyone stopping her would die, given they were weak enough. Huggy being involved however is probably quickly misproven given she still talks after her scream, implying that Huggy did not kill her, and that he isn't involved. However, if that was all her dialog, it could be a possibility. That theory is also probably misproven BUT only if Catnap had a "No Leaving Playcare" policy, preventing anyone trapped inside to leave. This is also probably misproven since Kickin Chicken manages to not only be outside of Playcare, but ALSO leaving the factory itself, even if he died seconds later. It's also misproven since Crafty Corn drew the warnings on the vent walls in the Chapter 1 Huggy chase sequence, proving that Catnap allowed them to roam the facility, given who they were at least. The orphans who were and might still be alive are probably kept elsewhere, probably where Chapter 4 will take place, given the leaked title for it, and the fact that Picky Piggy apparently ate orphans, which also gives a clue to who we might see in that chapter. (EVEN IF BRON IS ON THE COVER!) I could go more in-depth but this kind of went from "Crafty Corn has Kuru." to "Picky Piggy eats kids.", maybe another day! Edit: Apparently the Bron cover was fake, ignore the 12 words regarding that lol

Dog days was really talking to catnap when he was outside and I’m pretty sure crafty corn was talking to catnap as well.

When Dogday screamed it was Catnap that cut of his legs. Catnap hanged him in that room you see him hanging inside in chapter 3. Then he cut off his legs and left him there. Catnap thinks that the prototype is his god and kills those who don’t think the same.

You know how to why dog Doctor's voiceline was way longer screaming way longer than normal than all others. So the reason why is cause he is getting tortured in the place and you could even here's legs drop. And the happy hotscotch, actually she actually died. She didn't get catched by cat nap. She was trying to hop and she tried to reach the moon which didn't really exist. Cause she was in the orphanage, so when she hopped the last time she actually hit the ceiling and died.

Hopscotch and Bobby are still alive. There is no indicator to say otherwise, just Dogday thinking he was the last one, he maybe didn't know. 🤷‍♀️

Not so fun but disturbing fact: when u hear dogday scream (cardboard thingy) u can hear him getting tortured by most likely catnap and his legs are getting cut off if u hear closely u will hear it

Maybe at some point, if Bobby and Picky are still around, Bobby could be an ally, and Picky could be an enemy in a future chapter. But it would end with both perishing. (I hope that if that if they are around, that Bobby survives, but I don't have high hopes, sadly.)

11:07 she doesnt say "Out? We can't go out", she says "be" as in implying that she is out of red paint, mot to the fact that she wants to go outside. That couldve been possible she killed KickinChicken but that wasnt the case..the wording matters a lot here ye also another thing i want to hint out is how in the theory of how the critters could be obsessed with the gas which killed them all, I want to say that isn't the gas capable of causing hallucinations? I say this because based off of the intro to chapter 3 with the news report about the catnap plush, the plush was accused of being the reason why children had the nightmares they had. Mainly because of the red poppy gas, right? Now this is what got me thinking: if the gas caused children to have such nightmares, how come they didnt die to it but the critters did? I ask this because if the gas could kill, then the children would not have lived to tell their parents who reported to Playtime Co. about their nightmares. Of course if the gas did kill these parents' children, they would still report it to Playtime Co nonetheless. Not only this but later in chapter 3, the player sort of passes out and goes into a dream of Playtime Co BEFORE the hour of joy, right? So this and the fact that the children who slept with their Catnap plushies who survived the gas, maybe the Smiling Critters in the beginning of the chapter in the film probably just went into a deep sleep before, possibly, being killed in the Hour of Joy with the exception of DogDay who lost his legs because of something else. I would explain how he possibly lost his legs but thats not what this comment is about lol thanks for reading to whoever did😂

i said this in a previous video about my thoughts on the critters so ill leave it here for you all to. i think that they are all still alive. lets think about it. dogday says that he is the last survivor of the crew but i think this may be misleading. why? well he is the ONLY ONE to not fall under the spell of the prototype, so technically he IS the only survivor of the bunch who hasn't fallen under the spell of the prototype, but perhaps the others HAVE so he considers himself the only one whos alive and whos resisting the prototypes control. i think the others are still alive but ARE under the control of the prototype and were also under the influence of catnaps gas. dont forget that the gas can cause hallucinations and can warp someones sense of reality, so perhaps the other critters we dont see are under the influence of this gas and the prototype. i think their deaths were faked and dogday was under the belief that he is the only one left because he resisted the control of catnap and the prototype. im thinking that the prototype kept the other critters alive but threw them in the deepest part of the daycare to keep them quiet and to maintain control over them. does anyone else think the same?

I think the only Smiling Critters that are still alive are CatNap, DogDay, Bobby, and Crafty. (I think Craftycorn may have killed one of the Delight sisters to protect herself since they went crazy)

I think Crafty Corn killed first, having ran out of food and killed bubba bubbaphant first, horrifying everyone. Dogday, Kicken Chicken, Hoppy Hopscotch and Bobny Bearhug all ran while Picky Piggy joined in. However, it wasn't enough to sate Piggy so she turned on Crafty Corn and killed her right away. Meanwhile, Kicken Chicken and the other Smiling Critters decide to try to leave Play Care, but before they could, Kicken Chicken tried to leave first before he was killed and fed to Picky Piggy. Leaving only her, Bobby, Dogday and Hoppy left. Dogday, having had enough, confronted and managed to try and escape, however he was caught by the Prototype or Catnap, and lost his legs as a sign of what happens to those that disobey the Prototype. Bobby and Hoppy were the last remaining two aside from Catnap, Dogday and Picky Piggy. However, I think that they got seperated. Bobby was alone and is either dead or alive, while Hoppy no doubt eithwr tried to help Dogday or Bobby but was caught herself. It's possible she went back for Dog Day but was trapped and fully consumed by the smaller Smiling Critters while Bobby could've been killed by Catnap. It's also possible that Picky Piggy could've been killed, as she could've been a liability and killed as well. Meaning Dogday, probably is right about only himself and Catnap being the last of the Smiling Critters. I don't know, just some thoughts.
