Very Damaged Tobacco Cutter Restoration

Very damaged Vintage Tobacco Cutter Restoration. This tobacco cutter was found in an old house. The cutter is antique and I decided to restore it. The year of manufacture on the cutter was 1966. The blade of the knife was rusty. I removed the rust, painted the wood. I hope you liked my restoration.

A small cutter for home use or maybe a small tobacco shop? Surely a big production facility back then would have had larger and more automated cutters. I can think of other uses,like a tobacco growing operation to make some sample product for buyers to try,but yeah.

@@ReXtorer ну я люблю Ліндсей стірлінг, Стінг, Діп форест, Металіка, Вєрку Сердючку і багато чого ще)) але треба щоб автор додавав свій настрій... я можу під "лунную сонату" дивитись як кацапські бліндажі і танки розлітаються, а от за реставрацією краще із настроєм працюючею лидини дивитись)) я не докопуюсь- просто трішки веселіше буде))

oxalic acid will remove nearly all rust stains from wood, leaving original wood color. best done after initial sanding and before epoxy and glue steps.
