arifa abidi no you’re mistaken ... Atif and Gohar were original members of Jal Band alongside Nadeem Omar as bass guitarist ... and they sang it in 2002 then after break up two versions of song were recreated in 2004 , one by original Atif Aslam and second by Farhan under Jal Band ... Atif and Gohar both have copyrights of this song according to Court Order as it was co-written and composed by both Atif and Gohar ... Atif left then Farhan was hired by Gohar Mumtaz in Jal Band ...

First of all guys .... Woh lamhe is the debut track of Atif in Bollywood, not Aadat, Aadat is originally by the band "Jal".... Goher Mumtaz is the composer of the song "Aadat" and "Har jagah hai jal" is also one of Goher's composition. He's one of the best composer of todays era. Goher is currently the lead vocals for Jal the band, before that he was the lead guitarist and composer for the band. In starting phase of Jal , Atif Aslam was on lead vocals,then due to some internal conflicts he left the band, and then Farhan Saeed joined in as lead vocals for the band.... Farhan also left the band in 2012 to pursue his solo career. So leaving Goher and Shazi alone. Goher doesn't wanted to dissolve Jal , as many fans are extremely attached to the band....so he's continuing it alone, carrying the legacy and name and maintaining it..... Atif and Farhan are doin best in there solo careers.....

Goher Mumtaz is one of the best guitarist of Pakistan and Jal is one of the best bands in Pakistan. Farhan Saeed has also sung a version of Aadat as a vocalist of Jal after Atif left the band.

Atif Aslam sang it in 2002 then recreated it in 2004 after breaking up with Jal Band and Jal Band also sang it with Farhan’s voice in 2004 ... and in 2005 it came to Bollywood in Atif’s voice with same composition with bit of lyrics change ... Atif sang Wo Lamhe in Bollywood at debut. Aadat was basically sung by Jal,The Band. Atif Aslam, Goher Mumtaz and Farhan Saeed (Arsal in drama Suno Chanda) all were part of Jal, The Band. They split later on. Atif again sang Aadat which got more famous than the original one.

Well everything you said was right instead of the debut thing. The song through which Atif entered the bollywood industry was Wo Lamhe from Zeher not Aadat. He got call from Mahesh Bhatt after he heard his Bheegi Yadein from Jalpari album 2004. Nice reaction though.

Initially this song was sung by atif aslam and music composed by goher thats the reason he does not sing adat song in this video copyrights issue due to atif but as he himself was the music composer so he can use the tune... we r very unlucky that both had a fight nd this band JAL broke ... otherwise there wud hav been more n more songs like this produced by them btw if u guyz see atif aslam is the only person who can sing this song as u see in his concerts cause the lyrics are written by him
