I loved Iceland when I visited a few years ago. Amazing waterfalls, the geysers, the scenery & many other spectacular things. I saw whales & the northern lights. Beautiful. Stunning country. Thanks for showing the videos, they remind me of my visit. I was to return to visit with 2 friends but it has been put back because of Covid.

Yeah looked great until the "stacked and packed" housing appeared at e.g. 6:25 or so. Not a fan of the ugly high density non-architecture.

Of course you know a storm of earthquakes has rattled your area. Stay safe, keep shoes by your bed in case of breaking glass. Maybe La Palma is looking good again?

I saw a documentary not long ago that predicted that Iceland, Greenland, Siberia, Alaska, the arctic regions of Canada, the Nth. parts of Scandinavia and even parts of Antarctica would become some of the most livable places on the planet, while much of Asia, Africa, Europe, USA and southern Canada and the Northern parts of Sth America would largely become deserts, all by around 2100 AD. What's the bet they will still be wanting to mine coal then?

Snow is very rare in Reykjavik, it's mostly raining all the time in winter. Usually when it's snowing the snow melts next day. We had snow 1 month ago for 3 days. The warmest day in Iceland in this December was 16°Celsius=60.8 Fahrenheit

Technically winter only began yesterday but I get your point. Also, from what I've read, Iceland's climate isn't as gnarly as the name of the country would suggest, especially on the southern peninsula where this was filmed. Further north and in the interior it might be quite snowy indeed.
