Great video Reynard ! Suggestion for upcoming videos - could you perhaps give us tips and tricks for designing a space that is child friendly? I assume a lot of parents who watch your videos, including myself, would like to implement or emulate your designs but often hold back due to being mindful of young kids.

Thank you for helping us plan a room or home. Very helpful. For those of us who use inches and feet, instead of metric, would you please give a reference for us. For example, in a previous video you showed inches/feet in reference to how much space is ideal to walk around a bed. Your videos are the most informational that I’ve located on KZbin. Please consider writing a book.

Yeah I usually put the metric conversion in the video, but this time I didn't bcs the number are supposed to just be representative not a guidance like it usually is.

I love your informative videos, you provide so many valuable guardrails for interior design in a very calming way! Maybe you could one day make a video on how to design an apartment with a sloped ceiling, I am always struggling with placing furniture and decorative stuff

Can you give tips on how to style a home that is easy to clean and maintain? I’m dealing with genetic depression that started when I was 15 and it’s sooo difficult to find the right balance between bare bone minimal and nicely styled space… I want to do something for my home so it looks nice, but I can’t do something that is difficult for clean up cause I already have enough in that department lol

I just discovered your channel! I’d love to see a video on how you can plan the layouts for rooms that have walkways diagonally across the room (which is common in small apartments or older homes), or if the windows and doorways in spaces aren’t centered. (Example I need to place a dining room table but if it’s centered in front of the window it blocks the pathway across the room, but if I place it in the corner I don’t know how to balance the offset from the window, this is a common issue in many homes and apartments I’ve lived in over the years!). Secondly, how do you decide what height furniture to go with? (Example: for living room focal wall how to choose between a low tv stand, a mid size like a sideboard height, or taller bookcases. Then how to work in all the upholstered pieces and side pieces so the heights don’t look too hodgepodge and wacky?) I run into these two problems the most because I can’t decide how to balance a room with layout limitations, or to balance the wall space visually with the right heights. I love how your advice is always so adaptable to different styles so would love your input! Thanks!

Can you provide insights for large and even high end stereos? This is my issue and my starting point and no idea how to blend it in as the main focal point. These systems easily takes an entire wall and even 1/4 of the entire room with sound acoustics in mind as well so you can imagine the challenge.

I love your KZbin channel fantastic ideas but I find the background music distracting I feel I hear the music first and find it hard to hear you is it possible not to have it, it is really off putting thanks
@barbarapaige9 ай бұрын
Hi Karen, I agree about the music, although his is better than most - too many Y-tubers have music that is too distracting and often so loud you can't hear the presenter well. Why do they think the music works? If the content is good, as in Reynard's videos, they don't need music; we're here for the advice.
