of all the peaks i've summited in Glacier... the view from Reynolds still blows me away hidden lake lake mcdonald st.mary lake logan pass the garden wall 14 times i sat atop reynolds love the climb and really love sitting up there alone

14 times on the summit! Wow. I loved the route up there. Some great scrambling.

@@DougLutz same here. not excessive scree. some fun exposure. many great little pullouts for photo ops along the way...and the excitement walking that last ridge to the top is exhilarating.

Very scary lol But there is just a trail to Dragon tail summit with no climbing up and down .. just for those people who are not in that shape to take such a risk..

There are 2 “summits” on Dragon’s Tail. The hiking trail is just that - requires no scrambling. The higher summit requires that you hike along the southeast face and then scramble up a weakness in the cliffs, then continue on the gentle ridge to the summit. Make no mistake, my route to descend to the southeast face to get on the trail to the higher summit was off-route and was simply a shortcut that my experience permitted. There is not a direct route from the lower summit to the higher one by staying on the ridge.
