I remeber this problem from my old physics textbook (halliday and resnick I think), which was talkoing about kinematics and the "traffic waves" that occur when cars suddenly just stop in the raod with a load behind them. It creats this osciliaation with a phase shift basically, and now im here wondering if you could probably just redc reynolds transport theorem to 1 dimension, massless point particles, and solve the problem that way. lmao, you probably could tho :D
