How would you connect your camera and monitor ninjaV for example to that battery , without frying your devices , is it safe , I just fried my fujifilm , thought I did the right thing but aparently I didn’t , nothing happened to the Ninja, any recommendation ?

Can I use my red raven dsmc2 with these batteries?

Thanks for reaching out. Get as large of a capacity version of this as you can. They work beautifully in my Zoom F8n Pro because that unit can work all the way down to 10.5 volts. Yours needs 15 volts. So get the biggest capacity you can. It fully charges to just shy of 17v so it will last a while.

Can I use this for my Sony a7 iv?

You’ll have to check out the specs on the camera for auxiliary input voltage. The DTap on this outputs at 17v give or take. I would think that would be too hot of a signal for a camera.

If you're ever thinking of changing your battery system then I very strongly recommend checking out instead eSmart batteries (such as from Audioroot). As they're the normal industry standard for batteries these days (NP-1 was the old standard almost everyone used for many many years, but I wouldn't buy NP-1 these days unless you pick it up insanely cheap secondhand) Don't be getting V Mount, that's what the camera folks do! We're not them, we're Sound.

I hear you. I use the V mounts for other things too so that was the rationalization to try these. I’m a sound man and musician first but I also do on set lighting for the ATL film market. Also, my KZbin lights run on V-Mount. I’ll check out the ones you shared though!

@@soundjustlikeapro ahhhh... I see if you're doing just as much gaffering on sets then V Mounts make sense for you! Perhaps check out the CAME-TV Mini 99Wh? Might be lighter than your current V Lock, and you can use it both for sound and lights. Or even go for the Fxlion NANO ONE 50Wh, is half the capacity but even lighter on your back! As while I'll burn though hundreds of watt hours, if you're only powering your F8n and nothing else, then I'd probably prefer a lighter 50Wh battery in my bag instead.
