In 1977 I discovered Jesus as my Savior during a bible study as a young teen. That evening I went to my first concert, Rez (Resurrection Band then) Glenn and Wendi and all, thank you for serving the Lord and leading many many many to the Lord.

I loved Cornerstone!! I remember going there when I was about 12 or so..and I remember Rez band, Jet Circus, Mastadon, Mad At The World, Petra, even DC Talk! Man, those were the good ole days..sigh

The first time iheard them was 40 years ago it was love on first side at Flevo Holland, iwas sick at the moment iheard the music, and all the sikness was gone, great voices, from Glenn and wendi. Graet lyricks and music, laeding me to Jesus mij Rock!

They always could capture the real human emotions that someone might be dealing with on a daily basis. God Bless them and may they continue to influence other new musicians to look into the real everyday issues that people deal with.

Beautiful music no matter the performance i think is about adjusting your self nobody is perfect nothing is like you want it to be like. I love rez band and i am playing on repeat. ☺

Wow! We were there! I was looking for the song "Shadows" which caught my attention as we sat there listening. I hadn't been exposed to classic Christian rock around my neck of the woods. That song stuck with me. Great memorable show; tragic subject in that song.

Rez was the first Christian rock I ever heard. The song was "First Degree Apathy". Thirty years later I know that moment changed my life forever. I once heard them called "the Led Zeppelin of Christian music". They changed Christian music forever.

First saw them in '79, brand-new christian. First 'Jesus rock' i ever heard. They started me off right..thx to my friend Greg. My first thot: like zeppelin, but singing about the Lord. Then..Wendy like attax the mic, and im thinkin, better than Plant! Then Glen preaches, and the house is on fire- the Holy Spirit kind. 2 hecklers, one was saved, and the other walked. Fast forward 10 yrs, they're @ Jimi's old high school in Seattle. Due to a severe snowstorm all down I-5, not all their crew made it up. So, for those of us who stayed, we got to help them tear down. Such a great and lasting ministry!!

Same here man. I got into them when I was a Christian which I am no longer. But they are incredible and definitely practice what they preach. Mad respect to Glenn and the band for being shining lights musically and in life.

Observation: Wendy sings anywhere from one to almost half of the songs on any Rez Band album; Glenn plays fewer than one third of the solos; in my opinion, Glenn is one of the greatest rock singers of all time and a superior soloist to Stu Heiss. Why has Wendy sung all but one song in the first half of this set? Not to criticize her, but I wish Glenn was singing more here. I grew up on these guys, first seeing them on the Colours tour and just about every tour that followed for the next decade or so...

Interesting observation about Wendi. Very few know it, but Wendi is a diabetic. She gets wacked on stage and would leave to check her blood sugar. Often missing multiple song eating fruit of candy then back on stage. Today (2021) Wendi deals with both hips replaced. Glenn is still writing/playing songs. Mostly blues and a reduced touring schedule allows him to spend time with "his Wendi" kids and now teen grand kids.
