It was made/remixed specially for the ceremony. The High Contrast guy took a thumping, ear-distorting, heart-pounding techno track and kept all of that whilst shimmying it up against some piano and strings and FEELING (man), to make this a once-in-a-lifetime version. Never to be bettered as a track or as a ceremony.

Given that this guy's bread and butter has been drum n bass, I'm not sure how he's pulled this off. No mean feat to keep the bouncing, rolling techno feel of the original, add some well-placed extra drums and sprinkle it with the perfect amount and touch of soul (the piano! the strings!) to please a wide range of Britons celebrating the remarkable evening that was the Opening Ceremony. It's "banging" (terrible word), soulful and so uplifting. A very tricky mixture to pull off. Superb. I listen to it repeatedly.

Yup. I could never even imagine Rez in another shape or form, despite all the attempts to manipulate it. Not in a month, a year, of Sundays would I have said, "You know what Rez needs? Piano!" This guy's vision (what's the equivalent of the vision of an ear? Man?) is awesome, even though I don't like his original compositions. I'd KILL to be able to do this.

Rez has been one of my favourite driving songs. Love it. It didn't take me long to work out what song this remix was from. It is as good (if not better) than the original. A great choice as a theme for London Games. Awesome.

What a tune. The Underworld original was always epic, but I love this even more. Underworld has got a lot of props for their work on the Olympics opening ceremony, but High Contrast and Darren Price deserve a lot of credit too for the Parade of Athletes mix. Great work guys!

I teared up hearing the piano riff of this play out. I thought at first it was my imagination to hear a Rez revival on the piano and I was overjoyed to hear it being played. Then I started jumping up and down when the actual Underworld beat dropped.
