I had Rezum treatment in 2019 as my Prostate was massive (160) and I rejected TURP, Laser and other types of treatment. I was warned then that since my prostate was so big I might need a second treatment.This in fact occurred on Sept 16 2020. The pain involved in a situation such as mine was intense but am glad to say the Rezum treatment was fully successful .It is one year today since my second procedure and I am quite healthy, in a normal urinating cycle. I am 73years of age and my sexual function is as good as it ever was( if not better).Congratulations to Dr Elterman in Toronto for being a pioneer in this very common and painful prostate complication.

I had mine dr Elterman and I’m feeling great now. The downside was that I needed a catheter for 3 weeks.

Had it done and the Dr screwed me up for life. He nocked the muscle and now I have incontinence for life. It’s only around because it can be done in office and the dr does not split his fee with the hospital. The golden standard is the TURP procedure.

I got the Rezum procedure done about 5 months ago, The pain was very minimal and the procedure only took about 15 minutes, the catheter was removed after about 5 days; then I had to wear women's pads inside my under shorts and men's diapers at night because there was a small amount of bleeding. That all stopped after a week. I felt normal, but I didn't notice the real benefit until 3 or 4 months, I'm amazed how good I feel now, I'm about like I was when I was 20 years old. The Rezum procedure is all it's advertised to be. I highly recommend it.

My experience was similar. My flow after 3 months is 3-4 times what it was before rezum. No side-effects whatsoever.

I had Rezum procedure done 14 days ago in Thailand it was completely painless and my prostate size is 70ml in volume. I had a catheter for 7 days which is a little uncomfortable .At the moment I have a small amount of blood in the urine . The main thing I am concerned about is the very strong urge to keep going to the toilet, I am hoping that in a few weeks the urge to keep peeing will improve and I can get back to normal.

It Doesn't work. Ask your doctor if the prostate will continue to grow after this procedure.
