That's not correct, at the 0.51 of this video you can see that the first filter you apply, it doesn't get it correctly: in the table doesn't just show you the priority that you filtered out. Hello Reza! This is a wonderful video. I followed all the instructions, but have an issue filtering with the Choice column. The choice column in my case is also called Status. When I filter for the first time, say Status = Implemented, the data table shows accurate results. But if I change my Status selection, Status = On Hold, it doesn't clear the rows with Status = Implemented and adds the rows with Status = On Hold after those rows. Any idea what might be causing this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi @Reza, I am facing a wierd issue with Table control My data source is dataverse with 100k+ rows. I have a dropdown to slect the view and bunch of other filters (~15 filters). I also have a refresh button to refresh the data. When I scroll to the middle of the table and change the view/ filters, the table is refreshing but, still shows the data incorrect. User has to click the "refresh" button again to show correct data. Can you suggest a work around for this?

Hello Reza - I am not sure why I continue to have this problem, but my gallery will not filter - it produces no data even thought the formula has no errors. My formula in the items feature of gallery is Filter(Table1,StartsWith(‘Project Name’, Searchproj.Value)) - again no errors, but when I type valid data within my input text box, all data within my gallery disappears and no data is returned from the filter. I did declare a global variable within my gallery and I’m not sure if that is posing an issue, but if you have any insight as to what the issue might be, I welcome your feedback. Thanks Reza.

Hi Reza! I tried modern table control with Sharepoint, but looks like filters doesn't work properly. If I scroll down a bit and change filters, then new filtered data is stacked upon previous batch of data. E.g. initially Status = Completed, I scroll down just a but, switch Status = Returned, then scroll up: on top of the screen there are still Completed items.

Hi Rezza! Very useful video! However I’m having some issues with filtering. I have 3 combobox filter controls and I’m using SharePoint as my data source. I have a default selected item set on one of the combo boxes but I notice when I go and manually try to update the filters via the comboboxes it doesn’t get applied properly. The table will act like something got applied but does not reflect the change. Or sometimes it will apply and show no data but then show all of the items I have in SharePoint (this seems more like a bug). In some cases I have checked the output of the filter command and I see that it’s working properly ex: only getting one record returned, but the modern table control doesn’t seem to reflect… How can I fix this? Or is this a bug you are aware of?

I have not experienced this issue. I have used multiple filters as shown in video without any issue. I have a customer who is actively using this today with 10+ filters. There must be something not done correctly in your App.

I have a textinput (delayed output),; when I enter in a last name, the rows at the bottom show 1 (correct), except all of the original items, before the filter, still show. If I remove 1 letter from the name, it shows correctly. It seems like the original filter doesn't apply, visually, on the table. (3.24091.13 also with 3.24084.21)

Reza thanks, I cannot explain it. I did everything exactly the same. If I publish the app with no filters the data is there in both preview and publish. Once I add the filter statements the data and app work fine in preview but when I publish the app says “no data can be found”

@@tarunsharma1428 My videos are not made in any particular order. They are mostly how to videos. I have multiple playlists in which I have tried categorizing the videos. I have a training program (channel members in GOLD tier) which has step by step ordered list of content.

I built a table filter like this and it worked fine, after I changed the name of the sharepoint list it stopped working correctly. I've created a new page, i've deleted the data connection and added it again, it just refuses to work. This is the code i have: Filter( 'HSD Test Report DB', And( StartsWith( Title,txtYPN.Value ), StartsWith( 'Report Nr',txtReport.Value ), Or(dropCT.Selected.Value = Blank (), Cable.Value = dropCT.Selected.Value), Or(dropPH.Selected.Value = Blank (), ProdHardware.Value = dropPH.Selected.Value), Or(dropManuf.Selected.Value = Blank (), Plant.Value = dropManuf.Selected.Value), Or(dropSpec.Selected.Value = Blank (), Specification.Value = dropSpec.Selected.Value) ) ) Most of the filters are dropdown lists and even on those it doesn't work correctly. Some times it works and filters correctly, other times it doesn't. If I try multiple filter simultaneously that it works fine. Any ideas?

I have no clue about the reason for this issue. I will recommend posting your issue with screenshots on the forums at powerusers.microsoft.com in case someone has experienced something similar.
