the infrastructure between here and manhatten is a rail / structure geeks dream! i never get tired of it. ive always thought in all my years in nyc rail stations and subways , that a simple powerwash would make most of these facilities look brand new. most of the dinginess comes from surface grit and grime.

This might be the best train station to rail fan!! Great video. And doesnt putting a NB train on track 3 would cause more problems than solution. Every southbound train in america goes thru track 3 lol

I’ve never seen a train go northbound on track 3. Track 3 is mainly southbound traffic. Talk about rush hour

There was an issue east of Newark, and they fit as many Amtrak trains as they could in the station, so the Acela had to pull in on that track.
