As far as I'm concerned, the ball stops at the feet of the RF2K-S. I have mine interfaced with the my Yaesu FTDX101MP and 3 antennas. Coming from an Acom 1000 and LDG AT-1000, there was a bit of a learning curve. Now it's just hit my VFO memory, key and go!

Buy the RF2K-S. I use it all the time with remote control. kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4nHiH2bhbKEl8U

By the time you buy all the "add ons" to to make the Lux comparable with the RF-2KS, the RF-2KS is cheaper, quieter, and everything is in just one box. Plus the lead time is just 6-8 weeks instead of the several months wait for the Lux.

I have 2 QTH. Replace the Lux with the RF2K-S. I haven't made the final decision yet.
