I recently bought the track Spa and 2 lmp2s, I find them in my steam inventory but they will not load in game. I click on the car in the inventory to try to subscribe to it but it doesn't let me. Please Help.

have you checked of enough storage space? Did you try verifying the game file integrety via steam check your rfactor 2 folder / installed / vehicles and see if you find Oreca07 and Ligier LMP2 if its there, its installed

Hi how do i get rid of content on my cars list under store content, its basically content you purchase and i cant remove it from the list and i dont even know why its there in the first place as i never purchased it or even looked at it. Theres just a bunch of red crosses next to them all and i want to remove them, they arent installed or anything i just want to get them off the list. Thanks

Make sure that no mod contains these cars. Also make sure to check your Steam inventory of subscribed workshop items. Then they will always be redownloaded. Feel free to come back to tell me if that helped it

Make sure you have root folders and packages in root folders for working directories selected.

01:38 I have RF2 installed on an SSD that isn't my C drive (where I have windows installed) is this ok or does it need to be on the OS disk?

On my racing PC I have the same. This should be fine! Most people have a fast SSD where Windows is on and classic HDD for storing data or games. I just advise having rF2 on a SSD if available

How to move elements in the HUD?

Hey. Elements of the HUD cannot be moved at all. Only somehow if you change it in the DevMode of the game, but I dont know how that works.

Hi Michy, great content. Have you done, or is there a tutorial on updating .veh files skinpacks? Since the sound update of the GT3 cars, when using custom skins, there is no sound or very little sound from the car. I have placed the MAS files in the right vehicle version folder, 3.59, but there is no sound. Can you help? Thanks in advance

Hi Michi, finally someone who dose some clarity using RF2, I would have expected videos similar to these from S397, but they never made them. I have always used modmgr of the folder BIN64, which differences are with modmgr of folder BIN32, if there are?

If you configure them the same way there are no difference between these. Just my bin32 has always been set correctly in the first place whereas the bin 64 is not. But at the end of the day all the same functionality. Thanks about your positive feedback. Much appreciated.

The overlay I use for the stream can be found here: docs.studio-397.com/users-guide/broadcast-overlays But they will only be available from the pits and not while you race.

Hey Michi, I have troubles with joining on GT Challenge practice ingame server, i have bought every tracks and cars that was neccesery to join, but i found out that they need to be updated (cars tracks) for the newest version. I was scrolling internet and found solution which is change in the steam (BETA version) to realease candidate, but the option "release candidate" just isnt there, do you have any clues how to fix it? i can send you some screen shots if you dont know exactly what i mean. Thanks a lot.

You shall not use the release candidate while trying to race official races. Alwayse use beta "none"

What exactly you want to adjust? If you change something in the mod files you need to repack it in a new modfile, anything else would be cheating, so its good that this does not work :)

The default cars disappeared without doing anything to the game, except for 3 cars. I’ve reinstalled the game and didn’t do anything. They are not available in the store. Hopefully I can do something with the content app.

You should try to verify your game file integrety via the Steam installation. So go to Steam, rF2, right click properties, local data and verify game files

I have a problem with the strength of AI, I want to put 100% but the setting always comes back to 75%, do you have a solution? I already did a disk check on steam, I also uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but that didn't solve the problem. can you help me. Thanks a lot

Are you using oficial content or mod??

Generally I would try to put the setting and then restart the game. Otherwise you might be able to set this in the player.json file.

@@awannagannaful I know what you mean. I only recently started playing RF2 and everything seemed ok. I downloaded some Porsche content, and now my steering wheel, will not calibrate and bind. I uninstalled the Porsche content and also uninstalled and then re-installed RF2, and it still won't work. Total garbage and frustrating experience.

@@MichiHoyer Thx 4 reply... as i said... connecting to any single server, finding out the reason why i can't, or how to fix it ; But more broadly... why i need to watch a 1 hour video and sort it out myself, when no one from RF2 ever even bothered answering me. iRacing answered always within 24 hours... not that i needed to ever contact them much at all, because sh1t just works on iRacing. Maybe bc they think about the customer and they use logic and common sense. :))

@@MichiHoyer ur notes and efforts are great, so thank you, honestly. I just think RF2 is a sub par product on the user experience, online especially. FYI i did eventually join a server... just not many out there, and even the new official races... the cars in rookies are terrible imo... tried settings etc... but ffb and sounds are just not up to standard, or at least the out of the box experience i got on a CSW 2.5, so i gave up again on RF2 and renewed w u know who.. which just works and ends up being way more fun, but at a price of course. Would love for RF2 to get it together and save me $$

Sometimes they feel alright, sometimes they dont. You are correct, the standard settings for FFB are no good. I advise having a look at smoothing. It should be set to 9 per default, try 0 or up to 2. I also advise checking the maximum FFB Force to be set to 100 % (or -100 % depending on your CSW hardware - could be that it needs an inverted value to pull to the middle) Then adjust the car specific FFB mult to your liking. rF2 is usually known for its superior FFB so I wonder if you just couldnt feel it because of the default settings. However, if you still disagree with that then thats cool, I honestly respect that and note that we have diffrent opinions in that area :) looking forward to see if this gets you further
