Damn that's some great racing and incredibly clean. You love to see it. Until you look at the delta to the car behind and see how much time they gained during the battle most of the time 😂. Although on this occasion it seems like the gap remained the same by clip end so not all the time.

I've got a question about the Lap Target feature. Is it always based on the full stint, or is it based on the amount of energy/fuel you set for the next pitstop? And is this feature for real fuel or virtual energy?

For the price of theese 3 monitors you can easily get a very good VR headset that lets you use depth perception on corners and look around making the whole thing more realistic and immersive

Fair review. The Unleashed venues are in general well done and organised with nice, competent staff. Good to know they overhauled Gen1 now with Gen2. Gen1 Motion and Wheelbase FFB (and steering wheel) didn't fully convince me. However, generally I recommend the location(s).

Great video. But new GT3 sadly is pure horror. I do not know what is wrong but I can race to pole and at GT3 class start everybody is passing me as if they had a booster. And we are talking complete beginners, because they are driving like in Destruction Derby. Do I need to use a clutch for GT3 start?? But I can hardly imagine, these are clearly newbies.

It surprises me how many people neglect practicing their starts and setting their clutch (when available) correctly. I’ve seen some simmers on KZbin with double clutch wheels that never use it. It’s crazy how, despite it being common knowledge that the small details matter in racing, that most never actually put that into practice. That was a bomb of a start!! 🤩 it sucks that a grid getting off the line in basic unison like irl, is a rare thing in sim racing.

I doubt that the drivers who need to watch this video are watching this 🫣

Extremely important video... Thank you. Way too many simracers out there lack basic racing logic (even Alien's)... And multiclass racing make it 10 times more obvious... so as far as I'm concern your video is a godsend...

Hope a lot of drivers will watch this video and take your tipps into next multi class race. especially that you do not go back to the racing line short before the braking zone after overtaking another car. Todays LMU special event was a highlight again for drivers which where not able to be patient or respekt the rule for slower classes.

Predictability cannot be stressed enough. Most incidents to me occured when the slower car changed lines or suddenly slowed down. Good intention, but dangerous. But the faster car also has to make a move. They sometimes just seem to expect the slower car to disappear into thin air when the blue flag comes up.

Your favorite sim, iracing 😆 has taken away the fuel savings when “clutching” LMU needs to do the same. There was a thread where a LMU dev was making fun of the IRacing’s new debris. Saying LMU makes their sim realistic 😊

I would add the following: - as a beginner Hypercar driver, drive the lower class cars first to a competent level; you'll know what is possible and what is not possible to expect of the lower class cars that you'll be dealing with a lot - never attempt moves on the outside of fast corners unless you're willing to take the risk of ruining your and someone else's race - read the context - some moves are perfectly fine when you're dealing with a lower class car that is not engaged in a fight in his own class; when P1 & P2 have a battle in their own class keep in mind they'll be much more focused on racing each other than you overtaking them, so proceed with extra caution Case in point: couple days back I was doing the Imola 90min in a GT3 car. With 30min to go was 3rd and chasing P2, 2 seconds up ahead. Got taken out by a Hypercar (P1 nonetheless) going into T3 cause he decided it's wise to overtake on the outside where a GT3 car naturally goes wide. Both our races completely ruined for no reason. The Hypercar wasn't racing anyone, there was no need to take the extra risk.

Good video. I wish it were like, required watching to join the GTP/ LMP/ LMDH class across all Sims. I genuinely enjoy racing gt class cars but the multi class races are shit shows mostly because of the GTP drivers driving like assholes. Dove bombing. Pushing you out of corners, etc.
