After Russian President Vladimir Putin declared a "partial mobilization" in fall 2022, over 300,000 reservists were drafted into the war in Ukraine. A year later, women formed The Way Home initiative to demand that their family members be discharged and sent back home.

Your men have options, they could surrender, they could call "I want to live". But you are not against the war only against your men dying. You are not interested in politics and become mere vassals which you have accepted as your fate and now you are living with the consequences. It's easy to be angry with Russia and the Russian people for what is happening in Ukraine, but these voices are a good reminder to us all that we are all human and nobody deserves to suffer, especially for the greed of others. It seems like the vast majority of people on this Earth want the same things out of life, which is to be safe and happy with the ones that they love and to live in peace. Such a small handful of terrible people that perpetuates the world's suffering.

Russian men actually have an option to live with restrictions in Russia, or leave the country (the borders arent closed like in Ukraine). So if a russian man is drafted, it's his choice

Countries are closing borders against Russians (difficulty determining if they’re actually working for Putin. ALSO, most didn’t have enough money. Plus, the only way to get a Russian passport is through military service.

Only those who have enough money and those who have not been called up to the army can leave Russia. But finding a permanent place to stay is very difficult. Many countries, mostly the EU and the US, made it difficult for Russians to apply for visas unless they already had family there or were travelling for work. Other countries, including Kazakhstan, changed their laws to stem the flow of Russian immigrants by limiting how many days they can stay as tourists.
