Long ago, I had a friend from Lemkovyna. She told me that, as a child, she was terrified that the Nazis were going to kidnap her and take her to Germany because she had blonde hair and blue eyes. When her parents found out, they explained that the Nazis had been defeated decades earlier and that she didn’t need to worry about this anymore. I used to think that this story was funny but now I’m amazed and horrified that the muscovites make sure that such concerns are still valid for the children of Ukraine.

Taking Ukrainian children out of Ukrainian territory by Russia and to Russia or territories under its occupation, who is at war with Ukraine, is not an evacuation. This could be done to a different part of Ukraine or to a third country and with permission of the person who has the custody. The above described events are child abdution and acording to international laws constitute a form of genocide.

I am overjoyed for this human being's freedom. I am heartbroken and angry at the lack of international urgent action to stop it. The deportations are recognized by international law as an act of genocide. The allies could have stopped the first Holocaust to systematically use modern weapons and industrial efficiency. My grandparents were not saved by intervention. They died in camps because the final solution to the nazi Final Solution was left to winning the war at some point. How many people understand that the infamous Dachau Concentration Camp opened up in 1933. It wasnt shutdown until the Allies approached it in 1945. 12 years it operated. TWELVE explitive YEARS!!! Back then, my father helped intervene by "violating" Germany's" sovereignty. In the case of Ukraine, we're required by international law (The "Genocide Convention") to intervene without violating sovereignty.

There are now about 5 million refugees from Ukraine in the Russian Federation, a lot of children without parents, who were once settled in hotels, fed, watered, taught, and treated very carefully. Some sanatoriums were packed. These children, who have become adults, are given a certificate for housing; as far as I know, no one is going to return to Ukraine. It’s sad because of this man’s lies, whoever wanted to stay stayed and fought on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In Kherson, the military doesn’t need problems with other people’s children; those who wanted to leave left, those who didn’t want to, stayed.
