What shocked me about this hearing is that Wasserman-Schultz made a motion based on something that didn't even happen either in the session or the week before. Politely, and with all do respect. In our Founding documents there is no mention of the word democracy. Anywhere. In fact at the end of George Washingtons Presidency there were no political factions, or parties. He was a brilliant, and wise man. He loved, sacrificed, fought, bled, and nearly died several times to create America. A land where people could Honor our loving Creator, Pray, Worship, attend Church without fear of prosecution. Since no one listened when he verbally advised against the creation of opposing factions, or parties he was sure to put exactly what he thought would happen in time as a result in his farewell speech. It is happening now. In our pledge of allegiance we are a republic, one Nation under God. In the The United States Constituion, The first Amendment in our Bill of Rights secures the freedom of speech, freedom of the press. The Declaration of Independence, The pledge of allegiance. I'm sorry if you thought because somebody made the word democratically you thought democrat has anything to do with America other then a made up name like Disney Land. Maybe that name would actually be more suitable for what the democrats have become. Disney Land. Then they can identify as whatever character they want.

I wonder if Mr. RFK has or is developing a scientific and legal team that would bring proof of the unhealthy practices that are hurting Americans and bring them before the house to issue laws against those practices. Just giving interviews and arguing with the house by himself seems to be counterproductive and time consuming. Talk doesn't help make changes, and the American people is already aware of the truths Mr. RFK speaks about. He needs to work at the legal aspect of these anomalies.
@skjenco18 күн бұрын
At 31:10, the question arises: "Is that a type of censorship as well?" followed by, "Shouldn't any House member have the right to criticize...?" (So far, YES) "...without it seemingly being a violation?" (Mostly YES, unless there’s a clear rule being violated.) The addition of terms like "kind of" and "seemingly" complicates the matter. It's unclear what the "censoring" side definitively aims to do. The more abstract and critical question is: What constitutes censorship? A group has the right, as a collective body, to make a statement against an individual. Their collective voice carries more weight, and that’s often the point-it’s not censorship. A sanction of censure, for instance, differs significantly from expulsion. Censure is about expressing collective disagreement, like Congress saying, “We as a body strongly disagree with this individual’s statements.” That’s far different from saying, “If you express certain views, we’ll remove you from Congress, take away your position, or block your speech from reaching certain audiences.” The argument that free speech means others must agree with or amplify your speech is flawed. Free speech doesn’t shield you from others being more persuasive, having a higher station, or speaking collectively as a body. They can be wrong, unjust, or even heavy-handed in their process, but they’re not infringing on your right to speak. Contrast this with a case like Kennedy’s, where the individual actively sought to limit who could hear his message. That is censorship by definition. The difference is significant.

There's a basic mis-understanding about the scientific method here which has been my pet peeve ever since I finished my grad degree in 1984. Science is about examining the data, the methods, the demographics, and trying to replicate the findings, refining the control of the variables. Science is not about believing one pundit over another because his father is better connected than yours. That's the medieval church. Get a grip, people.

The Republicans and Trump accepted him without compromising. RFK said of Trump, “He suggested that we join forces as a unity party,” he said. “We talked about Abraham Lincoln’s team of rivals, that arrangement would allow us to disagree publicly and privately and furiously, if need be, on issues over which we differ, while working together on the existential issues upon which we are in concordance.”
