It's absolutely not limited to one political party or to one Senator. During one investigative hearing, Senator Markwayne Mullin (R) stood up and challenged the Teamsters Union president to a fight. No disrespect intended, but if you watch Senate hearings, the heated rhetoric and tactical maneuvering is not unusual. The questioning can get pretty brutal on both sides. It's not uncommon that those being questioned are not allowed to answer questions, and the "yes/no" format is an oft-used tactic used by both parties. During one Senate investigative hearing, Senator Markwayne Mullin actually stood up and challenged the Teamsters Union president to a fight. That said, the Democrats did go pretty hard on Jr., but that was expected. I'm sure the second day of confirmation hearings for RFK today are going to be equally as feisty, because RFK is among the most controversial of nominees. If you compare his Senate confirmation hearing to the one for Brooke Rollins, for example, it was like night and day.

Regarding Caroline Kennedy's 'letter' - A half truth is often actually a lie. As someone who has worked in bird rehab for 18 years, including for hawks, it should be known that if a raptor is injured, orphaned or sick, one has to blend (soften) dead prey like tiny birds, mice etc to then tube feed them deep into their crop if they cannot feed themselves. Small birds and mice etc are natural prey for raptors, they cannot eat grains or fruit - so it is in fact the best food for their species and for a successful rehabilitation. It astounds me the lack of general knowledge humans have about our avian friends, which we all love and admire. It makes perfect sense if a very young Robert Kennedy had a sick, injured or an orphaned baby or juvenile bird in his charge he may have had to tube feed at times by softening DEAD mice etc. Bird rehabilitation is often not pretty, involves mess, dedication and hard work. Looking on as a layperson one could very easily not understand the processes, so I say shame on this woman for twisting what is obviously a gross misunderstanding and half truth.

But there's a congested over populated area in Seattle and its suburbs which includes mega wealthy people, with enough numbers to keep us blue year after year. Vaccines have a place, but not as a panacea for all ills. Indiscriminate use without ongoing testing of the effects is dangerous policy. Since the number of vaccines being given to children has increased so have the illnesses and other conditions that affect their well being. It is time to begin looking at what is being given and why, and is there a direct relationship between vaccines and these conditions, it is for this reason that RFK Jr. deserves a role in that investigation.
