The G1 reduces my FPS about 5-10 in every game. I cant figure out why. If I turn it off it instantly gains 5-10 fps right back.

@@thecoon3240Well yes obviously it will Reduce fps because it uses a software in your pc that needs to check What colors are on your screen every few seconds.

How does this kit get the info from the PC to match the colors from whats on screen to the LEDs? I know some of the other LED TV/Monitor strips have a camera that is mounted and will "see" the on screen colors and replicate the colors to the LEDs?

Thanks a lot for the measurements! I already ordered one actually and I'll put it on my 42" tv/monitor... but I'm also about to buy an aluminum V channel that will make it slant to 45 degrees so the light will spread even more to compensate being short. Thanks again!

Awesome, very helpful. One question though, the sync lights will only work if u are using a PC right? Let us say I use my monitor with a ps5, the syncing would not work, just regular colores light sets that I can choose on my phone, is that right?

Essentially, yes. I’m buying these and I use a monitor for my Xbox series x. I concluded you can use them with their app like regular but if you want that color mirroring, you need to have a PC.

Thanks for sharing this video mate. Bought these yesterday and installed today and having a real issue with the dreamview, get a really horrible strobing effect which is mainly red when I turn the dreamview on, when I go in to the area setting on the desktop app it shows those 10 colours that you should see on your LED's, for me mine are all red. App is up to date on both phone and PC as is the firmware and still the probelm exists, thought it might have something to do with it trying to mirror my ultrawide 1440p monitor so changed it to my other standard 1080p monitor (I have a stacked setup) and still no luck. Anyone else experiencing similar?

bought this light strip, installed it but it is very laggy. When I put Dream View the lags are very annoying. Color is changing after 1sec. Do you guys have same issue ??

Netflix etc have anti-piracy systems that turn your screen black when recording or doing a screenshot. Not sure but it might be the problem. The only way i know how to do it is to go to browser serttingg and disable hardware acceleration.
