What do you guys think of the Colbor CL60Rs? You're definitely going to see a LOT more RGB lighting in my videos 😂

Interesting review on color and brightness accuracy. I appreciate the other points being made. Being more objective and using a light meter would provide more useful info. Just bought the Colbor CL60 this afternoon and have been testing it to see what I bought. At 6,500 k setting, the measured CCT is 5,810 k, with Lumu light meter, and a meter away. Lux. is @ 1,833 lx, less than 2,082 lx advertised on their site. To make it close to the daylight 6,500 k, one needs to crank the green all the way to +10, max., in the settings. But, if you don't have a light meter, you are clueless on what you are seeing. At 2,700 k setting, the measured CCT is 2,630 k, with 1,419 lx. CCT is much closer at this setting. If you are a foot way from the LED, the CCT is better, but still falls short at 6,110 k, when set for 6,500 k. Lux. is at 21,220 lx in this situation. I was reading on their site that the CRI is at 97+. I just don't see that happening in this situation. Guess this thing will be going back to Best Buy.

Amazing how your desk says around 60k subs and now look how far you have come! Just kudos as it’s a hustle, I just started a new travel tech channel, and starting again :) Love the review

The brightness information presented is wrong. The Amaran 150c is rated for 5300 lux at 5600k, 1 meter distance, while the Colbor is rated for 2082 lux. The number you compared were the measurements with the reflector and the color temperatures of those measurements were also different on each light. The Amaran is definitely more powerful than the Colbor.

I was a bit confused as to how a 60w light could have higher output than a 150w light 😂 Almost bought just based on that false info.

I got this light recently. I have a room that is about 5×6 and I never used it more than 15 percent brightness. It really does its job very well. However, connecting it to my phone seems to me like an impossible task! Downloaded its application , but I guess it needs a cyber wizard to get it done (if that is even possible). If anyone managed to do it, please let us know!

Will any spotlight work with these? Nice video too!!!
@DavidZhou10 ай бұрын
Thanks! Yes since it has a bowens mount adapter, any bowens mount spotlight should work! Just keep in mind you’re only working with 60w of power so you won’t be throwing the light SUPER far, but it’ll definitely work for smaller spaces you’re trying to light

Does any piece of video editing software have spell check? Honest question since I’ve only ever used Lumafusion on my phone lol

No umbrellla holder? Major deal breaker for me… :(
@pxmonkeederp11 ай бұрын
COLBOR makes an umbrella holder mount that you can attach to the light using the NATO rail. It's like $20. I imagine they didn't include it with the light to keep costs down.
