That initial high result for the Tesla covers should tell you the flaw in your analysis - single data points. Any one of these single data points could be far below or above the mean, and thus lead to a false conclusion. You need to run each setup 10 or more times and then apply statistical analysis to get reliable data. It's the only way to smooth out the inconsistencies between test runs. EDIT: Even 5 runs each would allow for some analysis. But a single run is meaningless. Sorry Gjeebs.

At 2 minutes 30 seconds the whole base for this video drops off if you are not able to get measured savings on the tesla wheelcovers. Measurements on different days dont mean nothing. its the repatability of your tests that matters. Shorter distance no wind, and stable temperatures. If you drive 20 miles on each set the temperature and conditions change way too much to give accurate results. To start test you should get +-1% same results if you drive same route 3 times. I recommend short distance testing I use 5 km or about 3 miles and drive both directions...

True. Best to shut down HVAC altogether too, as it will likely be operating differently at different times of the day.

So I bought the blade style covers recently. Are there supposed to be 4 of the same instead of 2 for the drivers and 2 for the passenger?

Sample size of 1 per wheel is statistically inaccurate. You need to do have more runs and average them.

The hurricane style at 8:05 was facing the wrong direction that wont help the range

Unless they give you a "left" and "right" set, 1 side of your car will go one way and the other side the other. I'm guessing you get 4 matching covers so each side spins the opposite direction.

@@ekbuz yes I received 4 the same. Tries to tell EV base that these should be 2 right and 2 left because of which the blades face but they wouldn't have it

Super helpful video! Can’t wait to see the future videos on the EV specific tires. Would going aero covers still be more efficient than going to lighter weight wheels with no covers? I was eyeing these 18” 22lb TSportline wheels to replace my inductions.

The fact that you got better efficiency with the bare stock wheels over the stock aero covers shows that your tests can't be valid and no real conclusions can be drawn from them unfortunately.
