Thanks for the tip on the Firehawk tires. I will be replacing the tires on our ST and will definitely take a look at those. As far as the acid on your wheel just have it repainted if you can't get the junk off of it.

Im one of the guys who recommended the Firehawks. They're great performance tires but the rim protection...just careful on right hand turns. Right rear rim got banged up like three times.

See if you can get that wheel done before they mount the new tires, because you're just going to have to take that tire back off if you want to repaint the whole wheel. Just a little advice! Second I totally agree with you about the focus st's potential still. Like yourself, I'm constantly looking at new toys and the M2 is an amazing car, but also remember what you have in front of you and the untaped potential. Keep up the good work! (Also waiting to see what ford does with the Ranger Raptor motor if it comes to the U.S.)

You should get new valve stem covers, Blue alum ones at like autozone would look nice. I like the rim protector on F!'s but I'll be ready for some SS's when these wear out, only have 7,600mi...

i bought some federal tires 595rsrr. not great for daily driving really noisy, it's actually louder than my mbrp exhaust but the grip is amazing. tire life completely sucks but they're made for the track. i got them because i always wanted to try them out and they're super cheap. i got a set 255 wide for 542 shipped, my next set will probably be the rsr. side note above 70 mph they become a lot noisy almost like regular tires

I was thinking about getting Continental ExtremeContact Sports soon as an alternative to the MPSS. But wow these seem to have comparable ratings and are like $200 cheaper.

I know! It's worth a shot and like I said they are cheap enough to where I can drive however I want and not care. If I got Michelins I feel like I would drive less aggressive so I don't wear them out as fast and have to drop another grand lol

Can't wait to see the upcoming mods. I gotta get an oil change soon and I will be right under 50k so might as well check some other parts as well hopefully nothing to expensive. I think I am going to get a cold air intake next and then hopefully the Cobb access port. Curious if anyone in the comments or anyone knows if its worth getting I'm honestly scared to tune it because I don't need any big components going out on me right now but I have heard nothing but good things about it.

Mr Pittsburgh cold air intake is not gonna get you any gains on this car. Waste of money. I've watched other you tubers show dyno posts. As for tune be careful. I've also seen other you tube posts with people not being happy about the stock internals not being able to handle much more than what Ford tuned these cars for. Blown engines and turbos are the result. I'm keeping mine bone stock. I hit 140 on the highway the other day and got there quicker than the Hemi challenger next to me did 2 times. All the while he couldn't pass me while he sat in my side view mirror Hemi screaming over the nice cabin sound Ford pumps in from the engine bay. To each their own though. Good luck my friend.

Thank you! I have heard about the cold air intake not doing much with these cars, but with the access port tunes I have heard good and bad and I am trying to avoid exactly what you said a blown engine or turbo.

Mr Pittsburgh you're welcome! I'm just going by so many threads I've read on these things so that I can make my own decisions. My decision is to keep mine stock. But if you wanna try out a tune you've been researching and weigh risk vs gain to find that you're all for it then go for it my man. If you did God forbid blow something you could always replace it with something better. Just have fun and be safe!

Dented a rim (dark gray snowflake) on the shitty streets of South Jersey a couple weeks ago. Rotated the wheel to the back same vibration. It was dented inside and out guy said can't be repaired. Found a used one on ebay with a little scrape on it for 255 no tax free shipping. My car is smooth as hell again. You could rotate your own wheels to the back to keep your tires longer if you wanted. I just rotated mine the other day with 2 Jack's n a tire iron took 20 minutes. Would have taken 5 minutes if my buddy had his electric impact gun. Don't pay those bastards who forgot to rotate them to begin with and not rotate for you now. You have some good tread on those rear tires. Rotate those bad boys n go do some back road shredding before you mount the new ones! And yea definitely keep the Focus. Such a great car. Could put a few grand into it to make it faster than the bimmer anyway rather than spend loads of cash on a newer car. Anyway, enjoy your ride. I know how much fun it is 😎

Shouldn't the dealership cover the damage to the wheel since they caused it? Have you tried that? Shit i would get a set of Konig hypergrams for the price of ONE oem wheel from the dealership lol. I see perfect condition snowflakes on fb go for like 300-400 with no tires for a set.
