JDG had RGEs number at every point, and I still think the west underestimates just how good a player Kanavi is since they've barely played against him. Letting him have Viego twice is an absolute crime. But overall it was clear from the first game that this was going to be a quick series, RGE got everything they could have wanted in draft 1 and were still curbstompped.
@kampfkeks66192 жыл бұрын
Rogue "got what they wanted" but they had the wrong idea from the beginning. Aggressive bot side and better engage jungler would have worked much better. They picked what worked in first week when they have been found out by the second week. Didn't do their homework for draft imo
@gaoaibai62432 жыл бұрын
@@kampfkeks6619 Not that i disagree but what would be the right idea here? They got stomped top, jungle was free for Kanavi and midlane was invisible while Yagao constantly roamed around the map. What can they even draft to beat a team like this? Agressive bot but Hope and Missing are the better botlane, they wouldnt lose a duel vs Rogue's bot unless Rogue drafts a hard lane winner like Kalista or Draven, but these champs are useless beyond mid game which is when JDG normall turns on. Better engage jungler like J4 or Sejuani will just be food for Kanavi, as he got a wicked Viego- a champ that Malrang cant play. Not to mention Kanavi's infamous Bel'Veth which can solo carry the game if needed be... Only way for Rogue to win is to magically get a better toplaner and start drafting around carries, depending on Malrang to play utility champs that is fine to sack jungle early (sth he cant do) like Lilia to outplay JDG in teamfights, but that is basically impossible as that is not how Rogue plays. Imho that is sth I expect a team like T1 to do, not Rogue so sorry but it was hopeless from the start.

i think rogues issue is the way jdg played all year long they just tend to fall behind early in close to every game and came back in tf and mid to late game but as rogue dont even manage to get their leads in the weakest part of jdg its hopeless and besides the leblanc game larrsen didnt realy exist but he was fine and done good amount of damage on azir but cleary not to a point where u would think it gets value to put him on azir cause the shuffles were just not as good as they need to be top was gapped 24/7 dont matter if it was a counter pick or not jungle gapped as well and without being mean there was no way lee sin would be the correct answer here if you are not turbo smurfing on it bot did fine last game but somehow lucian even hard outdamaged kali there was not real target for kali cause everything is too tanky keria showed that raka will be good if you can play it good enough but i dont felt like trymbi was even close to that level

Yagao was completely piss useless first game, only being able to help his team by pressing E to stop engages. If the rest of JDG wasnt so insanely ahead it wouldve basically been 4v5 with a strong azir. Larssen did everything he could, playing out of his mind the third game and again winning lane in the 2nd game and ending with 0 deaths. Rogue had a lot of problems in draft especially in jungle. Malrang is just obviously outclassed by kanavi and he is going to play champs that are going to be an item behind on kanavi every single game. Them feeling like they needed to play lucian nami 2 games also didnt help, since u get a losing bot matchup every single time that maybe outscales in a way, especially game 2. Tbh I dont think what Rekkles was saying at the end there is viable. Before the series Rogue def identified 369 as the biggest threat (obv) and accomodated their draft to shut him down. Losing botlane wasnt even a consideration and imho Rogue got screwed over in bot very early in the series, making them completely ignored the bot threat. When Hope and Missing started rampaging in game 2 and 369 was put on tanks Rogue immediately tried to switch tactics and went ham on diving botlane, giving Comp and Trymbi free reign in the botlane. But this tactic is also flawed as immediately 369 started stomping his lane and pushing T2 turret at 20 mins, causing Rogue to panic big time. Personally I dont think Rogue was wrong to target 369 but hey, that is just me. Maybeee if that tiebreaker didnt happen Rogue could of done what Rekkles said, and got stomped even faster but what has been done is done. Nothing else can change that fact.

GGs for RGE. I mean, people already know that their is a massive skill gap between their counterpart players and that's why they needed to fix their drafting to at least have a fighting chance and bridge the difference in skill expression. They were heading in the right direction during game 3 but it's all too late at that point.
@liandryss9052 жыл бұрын
Technically, everything is winnable in theory. We can say that all we want but it's very different when it comes to execution. There's multiple statements from professional players and high-ranked solo queue players at Champions Queue that describe just how suffocating it feels to play against these very oppressive LPL and LCK players. Kanavi in Game 1 literally erased Malrang from the map just by taking almost the entire jungle area for his own.
