Even from a fan's perspective Darja's routines clearly lack character. I'm glad you combined several routines so we clearly see the difference. Her routines specifically are very sparse when it comes to artistic details, thus she concentrates more on the execution and the difficult of her elements and not at all on specific character quirks that make the routine more enjoyable and interesting. It's a huge disapointment that the judges still can't evaluate the artistry score accordingly. What I think happens is that they see she gets huge scores in D and E, so they feel like the routine deserves big score in a A too which is simply infair to gymnasts like Nikolova, Raffaeli, Kaleyn, Onnoprienko who do their best in telling a story with ther routines.

I don't agree. She has plenty of artistic details. Her dance there in the middle, The synch with the music. The hoop routine where she plays the guitar. She has connection with the music. She stops playing a character sometimes, but it's still there...

@@eimardgomes1128 you should consider Artistry from a judging perspective, not from a fan's one to determine which penalty an exercise deserves. Character (one of the thousand aspects of Artistry) has nothing to do with synchronization with the music, Dance Steps are not included in Character's scoring, details must be specific and in line with the music style, not generic head nodding or arm stretching out. Please, read carefully the CoP and re-watch my videos with STS explanations and we'll talk about Varfolomeev's Artistry again later on.

Rafaelli’s and Onopriienko’s routines are 0.0 deduction character routines for me. Both are very well crafted. Darja’s routine is very generic. It should receive 1.0 deduction but I’m pretty much sure it wasn’t the case

Darja hoop can be better in artistry than in clubs. At least she puts effort to include some movements during her elements

Why are the dance steps not evaluated? What part of the assessment evaluates the dance steps? Darja’s dance steps are mildly said really clumsy and look very unappealing! I feel she should get much higher deduction in artistry, I cannot understand how she gets the same as Raffaelli, Kaleyn, Nikolova, Atamanov, Onoprienko. Even for the fan she looks very far away from these girls in respect to artistry

i wrote in the theory part why S is not evaluated in Character of movement 😁 anyways, it's not judged in Character because by definition S must be a moment where Character of movement mirroring the music style is naturally expressed, so it's not possible to evaluate Character there, but in the other parts of the exercise outside S. i must say i agree with your point of view 💯👌

okay, but it's not how it works according to CoP standards 😊 also, saying that a routine is 'generic' (define 'generic', please! what do you mean? my impression is that you understand Character as a person's personality feature?? but it's clearly everything but that in rg) is not a compliment at all and a generic Character of movement is penalized in rhythmic gymnastics 😊 also, why is it okay for her to have a generic Character (said on the base of what?) while other gymnasts can have a specific, nicely developed Character and so receive the same score as hers? it's a huge paradox and doesn't really make any sense. As a last point, remember that preferences for gymnasts must be left apart when you are judging 😊🙏

5:33 what about connection between dancesteps and throw? Does it count? 6:06 is that a whole body connection? 6:10 is that a whole body connection too? 6:26 specific leg? I mean, in club routines it is harder to show arm movements because you have to handle two clubs!

​@@a_w825 hi! 5:33 that movement belongs to the 8th second of S in my count; 6:06 / 6:10 these look like too much stylized steps, the first one is a normal rotational element without any particular feature in my eyes, the second one is a pose which might be a specific detail, but i hadn't even noticed it to be honest, it's quite unperceivable; 6:26 mmm kicking the leg in the air while rotating on the floor may be a detail, yes, but here i didn't see any particular intention in making it as such, maybe i was wrong on this, but i didn't give it for vedeneeva either, doesn't seem that characterized as a move to me. i see what you mean about clubs, but apparatuses are judged all the same, Artistic standards are the same for clubs as well 😊

@icaronunes1246 o parâmetro da competição é diferente pq os árbitros não seguem 100% o código de pontuação. Assisti algumas análises da final individual de Tóquio, e em todos os vídeos as notas reais ficavam cerca de 3 pontos abaixo da nota obtida na competição. O principal motivo é que o tempo de avaliação é curto para analisar e lembrar todas as regras do código em 1 minuto e meio. E isso abre margem pra eles favorecerem determinados países e atletas sem receber nenhuma punição.

​@@GabrielAlves_2604soo, it's 50-50. i agree that video analysis always give lower E (but also D scores sometimes) scores, because we can pause, re-watch as many times as we want! about judges not following the rules because they don't know/remember how to score E is not quite right 😅 the best judges (brevet 1-2) score E for RGG normally and i can assure that they remember all the rules perfectly and assess consistently 😊
