This game is my first MMORPG, and it is really making want to play more! I love the freedom of creating your own character and flying around metropolis, as well as the freedom to choose whether you want to be a hero or a villain. Very good switch game, definitely worth the space it takes up!

I played this game when it launched on PS3. I’m a DC comics fan so it was a lot of fun. The world building and powers are great. BUT... it was endless payments just to continue playing. At the time you had to buy the game, first. On top of that, I think it was like $70 for a legendary membership for a year (don’t quote me on that as it’s been awhile) which included access to all DLCs... Only to find out you were just leasing the content and once the membership was up you lost access to those DLCs. If I’d have known in the beginning, I would have just bought the DLCs individually. At least that way it would have been available to me forever. Felt robbed.

This game have the best character customization I've seen in games. On my account I made 30 marvel and dc heroes or villains and they all look excellent. My favorite is Jean Grey as phoenix. She literally have shiny fire effects on her clothes (and that cost a lot of in-game money).

I like how it cost 600 coins to get one of the new powers. And then check the marketplace that the cheapest amount you can get is 500($5) and the next amount you can get is 1000 ($10)

Really hope they give a next gen update for ps5 and series x. Already runs like butter at 60fps and i love the style, but better draw distance and overall textures/resolution would be a welcome improvement. Game held up really well though and despite having multiple games coming out here soon i will probably wait and play this for quite a while.

All these comments of people surprised that MMOs charge 15 bucks a month subscription makes me feel old. Like really? That's pretty standard subscription price for MMOs since Ultima Online back in 97. Super bummed they havent added crossplay. My son watched me play on my switch lite and wanted to play so downloaded it on his ps4 and was sad to find out we couldn't play together. That's a shame cause if it became a genuine bonding moment then the devs woulda gotten 2 subs from me plus maybe a few micros on the side. Damn shame

2:25 yea max lvl is 30 but after that it’s CR (Combat Rating) which is basically Gear Amour lvl and that is an endless pull of levelling up

I see no reason for comparison to something like MUA 3 either, it’s a great game also but not to be compared to an MMORPG...

Well the actual game is maybe over 10years old by now. CoH & Champions Online came out somehow in the early to mid 2000s or when MMOs were becoming a big thing. Vaguely remember some of it.

opinions are opinions...BUT this is the game that the switch needed, because theres nothing mmo on the switch outside of maybe warframe :/, if you dont like comics like rgt here this game is definitely not for you ....i've played it routinely on the xbox, but this being on the switch is perfect, and the level cap is not 30, thats the just the level you get to before gearscore comes into play, find people to play with and also it has NATIVE CHAT, so no using that crappy nintendo app, just plug in a headset with a microphone into the jack and you can just start talking....i use my xbox headset on the switch to chat

I was hooked on it years ago on the Xbox one. I was pumped when it came to the switch cause I love the switch and I want to balance out playing my Xbox one and switch equally. 24 GB is hardly anything man lol. I can tell you’re super used to downloading switch games which tend to be smaller because a lot of third party games these days that come out for PS4, Xbox one and pc are 3-4 times bigger than 24 gb. As far as this game is concerned I just can’t get into it personally. For one thing it’s really showing its age big time. I mean Skyrim came out around the same time in 2011 and look how much better that game looks compared to this. I’m glad the game is available for switch owners that want to try it but idk I just don’t understand why they would port this.

But with other systems you can have giant external hard drives (the PS4 goes up to 8 TB I think), while with the Switch you're stuck with Micro SDs, which only recently reached 1 TB, so large file sizes really suck for Switch (especially since carts only go up to 32 GB as of now) But yeah the porting of this game is weird lol

GligarGuy not really though because while yes you can’t get as much storage as you can for the other consoles you don’t need multiple TB’s of storage for the switch because the file sizes for switch games aren’t nearly as big as games for other consoles or pc. That’s the point I was trying to make is that 24 GB isn’t very much at all compared to really anything that has come out just this year. For example I recently got a bigger external hdd for my PS4 so I redownloaded call of duty bo4 and it was over 130 GB of content just for that one game. There isn’t not one switch game that has anywhere near that big of a file size.

If you're all digital, that thing will be full fast unless you delete stuff. Your 130 GB game is like 1% of 8 TB, barely anything.

GligarGuy you keep referring to it in terms of just the switch though. 24 GB isn’t a lot at all. It’s a lot compared to other switch file sizes but not when compared to literally anything else. Anyone with a half decent internet connect of atleast 25-50mb per second( which is literally the minimum and the cheapest connection speed you can buy) can download that amount in 40 mins or less. And no even if you’re all digital it won’t be full that fast because switch games are so small. Like you said lets say you’ve got a 400 GB micro sd card that’s atleast 10-20 full games you could fit on there before you would need a new one. And even when you do fill it up it isn’t a big deal because you can just buy another one for like $30. Most people don’t even buy or play more than 10-20 games a year because there are a lot more casual gamers that play a couple games a year at most than there are hardcore gamers literally buying almost every single game every year.

When you say more superheroes, does that mean I get to play with Batman or any other DC heroes or is it just my custom hero? Because only playing a custom heroes in a universe never really interest me. Same goes with that X-men game back in the day.

Naturally you mainly play your own hero. It's a MMO, that means everyone plays in the same world. And it would be really weird to have 200000000 batmans running around doing the same things. You can play as the real heroes in PVP, but other than that they are just for storytelling and sometimes they might be a boss or an ally in a mission.

i downloaded it and played it for an hour zzzzzzzzzzz sorry its awful , the lack of sound when hitting the enemy was what really got me tired of it fast , i had it for the PS3 and its still dull since all those years ago …. i had to go in and out of the settings screen 5-6 times to lower the music volume as a pop up screen to suscribe was preventing me from doing so

This game is slept on trust and believe that people dont understand that the most important thing todo is gain feat points how do I know this people dont even know to join up with another person who has a different mentor to get more skill points lots of people wont play together if they knew you could run with a lower lvl todo thier main missions youd gain mad powerpoints because you never achieved the same powerpoints that pertain to the other person's mentor can only pick one mentor when creating one charachter so only way to get the other mentor powerpoints is to either make multiple charachters wichalot of people do to get feats from different movement speed races wich are races in the game set to what you picked as movement flight speed run ect

Free & premium level status players get treated like crap. PERIOD.......................... And,... the pay walls are in your face from the time that you start the game. Not fun unless you subscribe and then you do not get what you pay for.

Can someone please tell me how to use chat in this game. The only way I can switch tabs is if I tell a chat to someone nearby. Is there a way to switch tabs and get the menu up without having to chat to random people. I just want to switch tabs from default to combat and loot tab can someone please help me. Also I keep getting invites to groups in my chat and have no clue how to join them when they send a message in my chat box or even click on the message in chat. I say again the only way I can get the chat box settings up is if I go on someone nearby and it opens the menu for the chat box but doing it my way only let's me chat to that person nearby. Please help
